FOR YOUNG PEOPLE:
Voice Power!
Ages 8-10. Sunday 5/15, 5/22, 6/5, 6/12, 10:00-11:30am
Helps Kids Claim Their Voice through Play
The raw power and instinct of a child's voice - the one they used as a toddler yelling "no!" or as a kindergartener imitating animal sounds and belting a favorite song into an invisible microphone - can be hindered during middle to late childhood due to natural social and developmental factors. In Voice Power, your child can
- explore the pleasure and fun of using their natural voice
- claim their ability to use voice as a true extension of self
- build skills to express himself comfortably and confidently
Licensed speech pathologist and vocal performer, Gaida Hinnawi, MS-CCC-SLP, makes sure this serious work is done with creativity and playfulness in a safe, fun atmosphere.
