FOR OPERATION STOP THIEF IV

REGISTRATIONS OPEN TO PROVIDE 2011 MATERIALS AND TO REQUEST SIGNS IF NEEDED

Yes, it's that time of year again . . . already!!  Time flies when you're having fun and although the last year has been fraught with losses on the political front, such as the imposition of government health care and the takeover of our food supply, it has also seen an awakening in the population that can only be called historic.  We need to focus on the positive, keep repeating our message and keep showing the general public that we are not only determined, but we are right.

Although it appears that tea party and other groups will be holding fewer Tax Day Rallies, there will be many, providing us with other opportunities to spread the Truth about the IRS's misapplication of the income tax.  Hand out flyers at any tea party rallies in your area and invite them to join you in front of the Post Office for OST IV.  And don't neglect any other opportunities to hand out the flyers, street corners, standing in line at the store, anywhere you can; but you don’t have to wait for Tax Day to pass these out. 

REMEMBER, TAX DAY IS DELAYED TO APRIL 18 THIS YEAR, NOT APRIL 15.  Emancipation Day, April 16, commemorating the freeing of slaves in Washington, DC, (Yes, the capital practiced slavery throughout much of the Civil War . . . surprised?) is on a Saturday so will be observed in DC on Friday, April 15.  When are the rest of us going to be emancipated?  The harder we work the sooner that will be.

The IRS's unlawful taking of taxes from those who the law does not make liable for the tax is bad enough from a financial wrong standpoint, but it is even worse than that.  The misapplication is draining our States' economies, taking money out of play and keeping the States dependent on handouts from Big Brother, always with strings attached.  The drain on the states goes all the way to the family, taking away funds that would make a big difference in the family condition, funds that would spark a recovery from an over-bled, anemic economy and funds that would reverse the economic downward spiral with its upward spiral of unemployment and home foreclosures. 

In a nutshell, what you have been doing is important and we need to keep doing it.

For those of you who have not previously participated, OPERATION STOP THEIF is our program to fight back against the tyranny by educating the public. We do it every year on Tax Day. We have thousands of participants targeting hundreds of Post Offices on Tax Day holding up signs and passing out information. The response from volunteers and the broad public alike has been very favorable, so we hope you will come out and join us this year for OPERATION STOP THEIF IV.

When you register your group you will instantly be provided with everything you need for a successful and enjoyable OST event.  A checklist to ensure you are in full compliance with local ordinances and arrive fully prepared, Do's and Don'ts, Tips for a successful event including how to handle post office employees, how to handle the public and how to deal with curious policemen (eg. keep a donut handy).  We also will provide you with a sample PR for making the local news aware of your OST event and you can distribute that PR to every news outlet in your area through the TA web site.  We tell you exactly how to do it.

• Letters to congressmen and senators that will wake them up to the IRS's fraud and abuses;
• Flyers to distribute to all the attorneys in your city for our Operation Rich Rewards, changing the Bar's perception of the law;
• Letters to the editor you can use as your own;
• How to use our Contact Congress link to get your press releases sent directly to the media and to ensure that your correspondence gets to the right representatives, whether federal, state or local;
• Where to send names and addresses if IRS agents we can target with Joe Banister's Operation Trojan Horse DVD and its powerful Companion CD, Innocence Revealed
• Brochures with a display stand that you can place at busy cash registers;
• What Income Tax stickers (no damage, easily removed) to place on gas pumps, vending machines, newspaper machines or anywhere your imagination strikes you to place one.
