Your business or employer can support CEF at no added cost to you!
Child Evangelism Fellowship and Cornerstone Payment Systems are pleased to offer a unique opportunity to save your business money on credit card processing, while supporting CEF at the same time. We call the program, Processing with a Purpose and the funds generated from this program will go directly to CEF. Simply process your credit cards under this program, and Cornerstone Payment Systems will make a donation to CEF for as long as you participate. As a participating merchant, Cornerstone Payment Systems provides you with a preferred credit card processing rate, which is guaranteed to save you money for your business. The program does not cost anything; rather Cornerstone is committed to funding an ongoing donation to CEF for as long as you maintain your processing relationship with Cornerstone Payment Systems. We are so committed to the success of this program, that if we are unable to provide you with a comprehensive offer which reduces your processing costs, then Cornerstone Payment Systems will make a donation on your behalf to CEF for $500.00! We are anxiously waiting to see what God is going to do with these precious kids, and with all of us that are involved.

Giving Thanks for What We've Been Given
 | | Hollister Good News Club | Lots of kids celebrated Thanksgiving at our Good News Clubs the past two weeks. The lesson, "It's Good to Give Thanks", focused on the first pilgrims who made their way to a new land and the help and fellowship they received from the Native American people. The lesson continued with the Bible lesson from Luke 17:11-17 about Jesus healing 10 people with leprosy. The kids were taught that sin is a lot like leprosy ... just as leprosy separated people from their family and friends, sin separates us from God. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, we are no longer separated from God and we should be very thankful for that - the most important gift - our life! As a result of that lesson, 5 new children committed their lives to Jesus Christ. We had more than 20 new children attend the Good News Clubs in the past two weeks because of the special lesson!

Teaching Adults Who Will Teach Our Kids

CEF Santa Barbara's Executive Director Colleen recently returned from two weeks of training, Instructor of Teachers Level 2, in Oakhurst, California. This training which is a certificated course will allow CEF of Santa Barbara to train new adults at an advanced level to teach children the important lessons of the Bible and the salvation message of Jesus Christ. This training course focuses on the growing needs of children who have already given their life to Christ - how to disciple them, give them an urgency to share the gospel with others, help them focus on missions, worshipping God. By next summer, CEF of Santa Barbara will offer a course, Teaching Children Effectively Level 2 to new teachers in Santa Barbara as well as other teachers currently serving in children's ministries at local churches on the South Coast. If you are interested in learning more about this unique course, contact CEF of Santa Barbara at 805.845.3188 or at our website www.CEFSantaBarbara.org.

I have been privileged to witness God's hand moving in mighty ways through this ministry. Kids won to Christ yield a life of dividends and fruit. They hold a special place in God's heart and in mine. They understand God in a special way that adults sometimes miss and God speaks to them and through them. Together we can be sure every child in our community has an opportunity to hear the Good News.
Thank you for your support of CEF. As you consider your year end giving, I would ask that you prayerfully consider a gift to CEF. All contrubutions are tax deductable.
No organization in our community is better positioned to reach out to kids who deeply need to know they have a friend in Jesus. With your help, we can set them up for a lifetime of service for our savior.
Sincerely, Colleen Ishimaru
