What Are Your Favorite Holiday Memories?
Here are a few of ours...

Whether it was baking with Mom, shopping with Dad, or caroling with friends, we want to know what gives you warm and fuzzies when the Holidays come around!  What nostalgic memories are prompted by the pretty holiday lights, mistletoe and frosty nights?  Send us an email at newsletter@shopretroctive.com, or just reply this email! :)

My younger brother and I made our own countdown calendars, probably started around Thanksgiving.  We would put a Christmas sticker on each night to countdown the days.  Also, Christmas Eve dinner always included Mom's yummy mac & cheese, which I still make every year for Christmas Eve!

My brother will probably kill me for this, but I remember watching Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer with him, and we would both get a little "choked up" when the Bumble knocks out Rudolph in the cave!  But we would make peanut butter cookies together and everything would be OK!!  Miss mom's Chex mix and chocolate chip cookies, opening Aunt Theresa's gifts on Christmas Eve(always PJs), lining up by age to go downstairs Christmas morning(but don't miss my brother jumping over the banister to beat me down the stairs), and my older brothers & sisters "making me believe" in Santa!  And I will never forget the year we "attempted" a family portrait...Mom, 8 kids, 3 spouses, and 6 grandkids, good times!

Share your stories with us and we will post our favorites on Facebook!! (Don't worry, we will leave out names to protect the innocent!!)
