"Raising the Bar for Spiritual Empowerment"

Many of us can identify with falling into a rut
and not being able to find the strength or courage to pull ourselves out of it.  I feel safe in saying that we all have been there.  It's easy to become complacent in our situations and convince ourselves that things will never get better.  We are facing hard times and may be challenged with financial and unemployment issues.  You may feel like you are not making any progress and have failed in life, but God has a plan just for you.  The spirit of fear can be paralyzing and can cause us to have a lack of faith.  It's easy to become complacent and not be willing to raise the bar to challenge our fears to move out of our comfort zones.

When we allow ourselves to grow spiritually, the stumbling blocks get moved out of our way. Empowering our minds with positive thoughts, creates positive results.

I pray about everything, anything that I know that I can't tackle alone.  I take it to God and ask for his assistance, because then I know it's going to be all right.  If we leave things up to our own understanding, we can talk ourselves right out of our blessings.  We must learn to be spiritually conscious and be aware of God's almighty powers and how he will bless us.  The seed of courage and willingness must first be planted in our minds before we can see any positive results.

Instead of taking the back seat of defeat, take a chance on faith and believe that God always hears us when we go to him. Challenge yourself to be happy and not settle for your present situation.  Whatever we think in our minds is what determines our outcome.  Start thinking on a higher plane, believe that you are worthy of the best and push for more than what you've settled for.  More importantly, take a chance on God because He will never let you down.

Life is a journey for which none of us was granted the opportunity to choose our starting point. The way we travel this journey can either lead us closer to God or farther away from Him. Unlike the consultation we receive from a travel agent when we choose our vacation destinations, on life's journey, we aren't consulted. In fact the only thing we can expect is the unexpected. Consequently, life itself can become paralyzing, full of things that try to push us down.

Maybe you feel as though you've failed and haven't been forgiven for past failures or sins.  Maybe you have faith to trust God, but you feel as though God has forgotten about you in the midst of your troubles. Maybe you got some bad news concerning your health, or maybe a relationship didn't work out. But if you're going to see God's best, you have to have a "bounce-back" mentality. That means when you get knocked down, you don't stay down.  You get back up again.  You don't get bitter, you get better. What looks like rubbish and ruins in your life will be restored, repaired, and rebuilt to bring forth reformation. The sufferings will bring about a blessing for those that stand and having done all stand. God is revealing the glory through our suffering.  God is establishing us in the midst of what we're going through.  In the end, it will be worth it!

Know that you are pregnant with purpose and pregnant with greatness.  Allow the baby to be born.  Don't try to abort it!  I encourage you today to allow the vision to be birthed. God has breathed life into it and it is leaping inside of you reminding you daily that you must not grow weary in well doing: for in due season you shall reap if you faint not. There is no challenge too difficult, no obstacle too high, no sickness, no disappointment, no person, nothing that can keep you from your God-given destiny. If you stay in faith and keep a good attitude, you will rise again. God will turn those stumbling blocks into stepping stones, and you'll move forward into the victory He has in store for you!

Let the weak say that I am strong. Let the poor say that I am rich!  I am rich in Jesus name!  Not just rich in monies, but rich in power, rich in the anointing, rich in the glory, rich in health, rich in grace, rich in mercy!  I am living in my wealthy place!  I am walking in the wealth of the Lord! Smile for the love of Jesus is greater than any trial or tribulation that you may be going through. We have walked into a new season spiritually.  A season of blessings!  Proclaim and take dominion over everything that God has promised. Render the enemy powerless over everything in your life.

Jesus loves you and he makes no mistakes. You are not a mistake. You were created in the image of God.  God is the solution to everything. We must learn to hold on. We must learn to trust God.  We must learn to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord!

Skeletons Beyond the Closed Doors
Author, Nanette M. Buchanan
    Alexandra Elizabeth Photo
Brian and Sage Drakeford were living their life as a loving couple and devoted parents until Sage caught her husband cheating.  Seven years after their divorce, Sage Monroe Drakeford finds it hard to love again.  As skeletons from her husband's past resurface, Brian desperately wants to remain a part of his family's life.
After meeting a client who expresses his feelings for her and his knowledge of her husband's secrets, Sage fights to ignore her emotional attachment.  It is apparent, Brian has moved on and jealousy becomes a reason for Sage to consider dating.  Just as she decides Brian is not worth her putting her life on hold, his indiscretions become more than she is willing to accept.
Sage is caught between ruining Brian's relationships with family, business and friends, and moving on with a new love, and forgetting the past.  Sage's decision and Brian's choices will change their lives forever.

Once it is decided that a marriage is over and the love begins to fade, one begins to forget and sometimes forgive.  This novel puts a twist on the aftermath of a failed marriage; a marriage that died long before they let go.  Rekindling as a family may mean accepting the shame, fault and guilt that separated them in the first place.  A task that requires going beyond the closed doors.   Order your Copy Today....."SKELETONS BEYOND THE CLOSED DOORS'.

Finding The Way Home
Author, Fabiola Sully

This book is a collections of poems written
from my college years to 2008. They pertain to dealing with life's challenges, obstacles, and growing up.  I am opeing myself to the world and I hope they can relate to my struggles and growth process.

Beauty can you tell a lot about a person by just their beauty. Can you tell what they like or how they think? Can you tell what life is to them by their sparkling eyes and flawless skin? Do you know if they like midnight walks, do you know if they like sports or even like it rough when making love? But most of all do you know who they really are and if they will love you back because it can be a distraction to what really lies ahead? So beware and keep guard before it sucks you in.

I AM

I am pain

I am the regret that travels throughout your thoughts, malignancy in your brain.
Escort me to your heart so that my deviant ways
may plant roots from which I can stay.

I am repetition of innocence slain

I am the scream of torment and with the nightmares of my
victims I remain. Forget me not. Through pleasure and through
pain my fingerprints may be all that will remain

I am fear

I am a secret, the secret that crept within the of
midnights rain. Passed by times of neglect and hidden by an
     undying need to sustain.

I am hope

I am the need to break repetition's chain. Bypass anger that
remains in order to make sure a child can become a child again.
To remove from their innocence, molestations' stain.

What is Your Child's Life Worth?

Article Written By: Starr Holman-McCollum

Insurance is simply preparation for the direct and indirect expenses of a future event. That is why many parents view taking out a child life insurance policy as too morbid to consider. However, there are several reasons why the subject of child life insurance should not be considered taboo in your family. Parents buy juvenile life insurance, at least in part, to be prepared for the unthinkable.

Taking out life insurance cover children is often overlooked. The death of a child will be devastating for a family; if the child is covered by a policy then the payout can cover some of the costs, funeral fees and medical bills.

When are some of the benefits of being prepared for tomorrow:

- The best time to start life insurance for your children is when  they are young and in good health. A serious illness or injury could make insurance very expensive or even unavailable in the future.

- This ensures insurance can be continued through adulthood even if difficult medical conditions have developed.

What are some of your options? There are two types of life insurance.

- The cheapest option is term insurance which just pays out on death, the more costly is called whole life coverage and this may include a savings plan element. Parents can anticipate a whole host of expenses as children become adults: whether it is college costs, the first car, marriage and children of their own.

- The benefits of having life insurance for children extends beyond childhood, families with young children tend to be financially stretched and may find it most difficult to cover sudden additional expenses associated with the death of a child. Most children do not die so there may be the option to cash in on some of the money paid to a whole life plan. Young adults will be able to renew their life insurance, even if they have developed diseases which are almost uninsurable.

One of the main reasons why getting life insurance for children is a good decision is one that families often fail to accept - the possible death of a child. A child's death can be emotionally devastating, both to the parents and to the remaining children. It can be financially devastating too. These are few of the benefits associated with purchasing life insurance for young kids.
