Aaron Henry Designs: Bamboo Inspiration
012011_Aaron_Henry_bamboo_ring

"One evening, while sitting in our neighbor's backyard, where they have a bamboo 'forest,' we opened another bottle of wine and discussed bamboo symbolism--longevity and friendship. I became transfixed by the 'knuckle' sections in the stalks. I took clippings back to the studio. These rings are the 4th generation of the original design. The two outside bands are the real stars since the center can be swapped for any eternity type band. The outer bands can also be reversed creating a new look."

19.2K yellow gold, center eternity band shown with Diamonds. Also available in 18K white gold.

Andrew Nyce Designs: Abstractions in Steel
012011 Andrew Nyce damascus rings
.

The Duo
series of rings from Andrew Nyce Designs are visually intricate and a bit of a puzzle. The 18K gold bisects the Damascus pattern not once, but twice. Duo rings illustrate the mind's ability to create connection. These rings provide enough cues to enable the wearer to visualize the entire pattern, giving the wearer a highly contemplative object of adornment.

Barbara Heinrich Studios: Bound Together
012011 Barbara Heinrich Wrapped Diamond Ring

Diamonds bound in gold, Barbara Heinrich's new gestural collection is a tribute to Prometheus, bound eternally by Zeus for stealing fire. Every piece in this collection is carefully  hand-fabricated. Since nothing has been cast, the pieces are lightweight and more affordable.

Belle Brooke: Introducing Belle's Big Sky Collection
012011 Belle Brooke Dutch Ring

Recently Belle Brooke's grandfather brought her a box filled with jewelry tools that were her great grandfather's as well as stones that he had collected and carved. Belle's grandfather was a lapidary hobbyist who also made jewelry. Thrilled to learn this about her family history, Belle used a Montana agate carved by her great grandfather as the center of a ring that is the first piece in a new collection Belle is calling Big Sky.

Sterling silver, Montana agate and Diamonds.

Coomi: Boundless Enthusiasm
012011 Coomi Eternity Ring

Coomi Bhasin has had a varied career as a textile designer, landscape architect and now a jewelry designer. Her creativity is now expressed in her
jewelry designs. Her Eternity Collection was inspired by the flow of movement in shapes such as coils, spirals, circles and ovals, suggestive of continuity and a completeness represented by an infinite aspect with no beginning, end or division.

Suzy Landa: Pink Champagne on Ice
012011 Suzy Landa Morganite Ring

Known for her colorful gemstone rings, Suzy Landa falls in love with a stone and then creates a ring around it. Suzy was captivated by this Morganite. "Morganite is certainly the lesser known of the beryl family, and it's tough to find one that's not horribly treated these days. I love that this ring is big and bold but somehow still girly and feminine because it's monochromatic and all about pink."

Zeira: The Rhythm of the Ocean in Diamond Waves
012011 Zeira Diamond Waves ring
.

Sami Zeira took this design in a different direction from his traditional 22K gold granulation technique. He wanted to create a ring that his customer would feel
comfortable wearing every day. Taking his cue from his favorite place on earth, the ocean, his Rolling Wave ring is a group of six interconnected bands set with diamonds.
