JUST MARRIED!
Did you notice a new name at the signature line of my emails lately? Yes, we did! --- Dave and I got married out on Anchorage's coastal trail bluff on Summer Solstice, then biked the trail home to throw a surprise wedding reception that was masquerading as a simple Solstice party for our friends. It was all great fun and a glorious day for all the festivities!
Another party is just around the corner too....after 10 years of doing business, eDocs is having its first annual company BBQ on Friday, August 6, 2010. This will be a great chance to enjoy some good food and rub elbows with other Laserfiche users on the grassy bluff at our Dimond office. Keep your eye out for more information and an invite later in July!

| Tips & Tricks with Greg Campbell | Having trouble with image quality when using Snapshot?
If Snapshot creates a fuzzy,
pixelated, or blackened image once in Laserfiche, this is how you fix it: Poor results can generally be corrected by resetting a Snapshot default
to use a different conversion algorithm for color documents to correct the
problem so the issue does not recur. To
change the default setting: Click Start => All Programs => Laserfiche =>
Snapshot 8 => Snapshot Configuration (Current User). When the Configuration window appears, select your
repository and how you log in (if applicable). Click on the "General" tab and under "Settings", click the
"Settings" button which will bring up the Snapshot 8 Properties page. Click on the "File Formats" tab and under "Photo Quality"
choose "Floyd-Steinberg" and then click OK, and click OK again to close the
Configuration window and you are done. From this point forward, you can just choose the Snapshot 8

New Quick Fields Version Available
Laserfiche
recently released version 8.0.2 of Quick Fields and the
enhancements Include: - Support for additional
barcode types: Barcode add-on now supports Code 93.
- Compression
Options for Color and Grayscale Images: Option to compress color
and grayscale images as JPEG rather than TIFF LZW.
- Scanned
queue options: Quick Fields now supports saving the images in queue
for later processing when scanning is stopped.
