Rediscovering Devon's History

There is an exciting new initiative under way;  the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair is collaborating with the Tredyffrin Eastown Historical Society to collect and preserve Devon's 114 year history. Catalogs, photographs and memorabilia are being archived so that the memories of Devon's rich tradition are not lost.  In the near future, oral histories will be collected as well.

The photo above appeared on page one of the June 2, 1929 Philadelphia Public Ledger.  The caption read, "Lending Color to the Devon Horse Show, left to right, Misses Marion A. Galey, Rosina D. Malpass, Polly Brinley, Mary Law Starr; Mrs. Robert F. Holden, Mrs. Sumner Rulon Miller, Mrs. Joseph R. Rollins and Mrs. Alex Coxe Yarnall, who all had charge of booths at Devon."
