Welcome Fellows! Six Perrigo Fellows start work in LSI labs
The Perrigo Company and the LSI give
summer fellowships to highly qualified undergraduate students who are currently
enrolled at any university or college in Michigan. Students arrived in mid-June
to begin their fellowships, which will involve working in labs at the LSI, visiting the Perrigo Company, attending regular meetings with faculty mentor, John Tesmer, and making final presentations in August. This is a one-of-kind opportunity for
students majoring in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, pharmacy,
engineering or related fields and we're glad to have these exceptional students
at the LSI this summer. This year's Perrigo Fellows are: Melvin Chen, Xu Lab Fernanda Jiminez-Otero, Lin Lab Jian Ping Mei, Center for Chemical Genomics Hung-Jen Shih, Hu Lab Dan Weinberg, Morrison Lab Tiffany Wen, Morrison Lab
