Welcome to LSI link
Welcome to the first issue of LSI link, the bi-weekly e-newsletter designed just for the faculty
and staff of the Life Sciences Institute. Collaboration is key here at the LSI;
common work, interests, and pursuits link diverse and unique individuals across
labs. The goal of LSI link is to
help highlight those commonalities and make staying connected to what's going
on at the LSI a little easier.

Ever-evolving, LSI
link will reflect the work and character of the LSI itself. As a
communication tool and resource, LSI
link will be the place to find out what's going on at the LSI: updates on
initiatives, highlights of our resources, news and announcements, events,
building news, and more.
We'd also like your feedback on what information would be
helpful to you; tell us what you'd like to see in upcoming issues of LSI link. Send us an e-mail with your
ideas at: lsi-news@umich.edu. |
What's New @ LSI
Another LSI communication tool that continues to grow and
develop is the LSI website, which re-launched last October (lsi.umich.edu). If
you haven't visited lately, you should check it out. With content that is fresh
and dynamic, the goal of the website is to capture and communicate the work, collaboration,
and energy of the LSI.
As our face to the public, science community, U-M
community, and potential researchers and donors, our website conveys the depth
and breadth of the work taking place at the LSI as well as the unique
personalities that make up the teams at the LSI-on every floor. Through videos,
slideshows, photos, and graphics, our site is integral to telling our story.
With the help of lab members throughout the building, our
web pages are flourishing every day and truly reflect the caliber of talent and
dedication here at the LSI.
Working in conjunction with an up-to-date website, we'll
also be launching an external e-newsletter, explore
LSI, later this month.
In the spirit of collaboration that defines the LSI,
please e-mail any ideas regarding our website and external communications to: lsi-news@umich.edu, we'd love to hear from you.
