Dear BBB Accredited Business,

As we all forge ahead through the Louisiana summer, we can be sure of two things, the onset of hurricane season and overwhelming heat. Regarding hurricanes, we all know to check the evacuation routes, fill up our bathtubs, and buy extra batteries for flashlights and radios, but how often do we think about operating our business from an alternative location, contacting our suppliers and clients, or maintaining payroll throughout a disaster. The article below points out some disaster preparedness tips.

The BBB also provides some relief this month in the form of tips on hiring an air conditioning repair or maintenance company. Make sure to check companies' BBB Business Review before doing business and understand all expectations before starting any work.

Finally, we present a topic that has become more popular lately- the technology buy-back program.  Read about the pros and cons of such a program below before committing your money to a program that may or may not be of benefit to you.

As always we encourage responsible use of our BBB Accredited Business logo to let consumers know that a BBB Accredited Business agrees to abide by BBB Standards. If you would like decals, tent cards, or logos to use in your advertising, please let us know.
