Greetings!
I am soooo excited!
My new teleseminar series, "Permanent Weight Loss IS Possible!" starts tonight with my interview of Dr. Carolyn Dean - The Doctor of the Future!
Dr. Dean will be explaining to us how toxins, like excess stress hormones for example, make it more difficult for our bodies to lose the fat we are trying to get rid of, and how we can detox easily and quickly. I can't wait to hear all the valuable information she'll be sharing with us.
Just below here I've included a link to one of Dr. Dean's videos for you, so you can get a taste of all the great information she'll be sharing.
I've also added a few tips of my own for keeping the weight off and some humor to help you get rid of all those stress hormones! Did you know that laughter releases endorphins, which reduce the stress hormones flowing through our body?
OK then, gimme a big ol' belly laugh! :)
Best of Health,
Kathi |

More From Dr. Dean - How Yeast Overgrowth Causes Toxicity in Our Body
|
Here's an example of the great advice and information that Dr. Dean shares. In this video she breaks down how yeast overloads our body with toxins that cause our immune system to work overtime, inflammation to set in, and even how it can prevent us from losing the weight we are trying to take off. Crazy! Pay attention and enjoy the video, she really knows her stuff!

- Drink more green tea. Green tea leaves aren't fermented like black, so they contain the highest concentration of catechins (powerful antioxidants). Studies have shown that drinking several cups of green tea a day can lower "bad" (LDL) cholesterol and promote weight loss!
- Plan your grocery shopping! We really need to get back to the days of making a list with the entire week in mind, including bringing your own lunch to work! That's how my parents shopped when I was a kid. There was no stopping for take-out on a rushed day back then. We know our schedule and can plan ahead so that on busy days we toss dinner in a slow cooker before we leave in the morning, or make double lasagna one week and freeze half for our busy day next week. It only takes a little planning to cut out a huge amount of extra fat, calories, and cost from our weekly meal plans! And don't forget to bring your reusable shopping bags to the grocery store...
- Smoothies are a great all natural treat! Keep a bowl of fruit on the kitchen table or counter with the blender right next to it. Teach everyone in the family how to make nutritious and tasty smoothies at home and start a healthy new family routine!

Tuesday's Humor |
These are both true - happened last week to 2 different friends and they're just too funny not to share...
My silly 5 year old son decided to go "sledding" down the stairs in a laundry basket this evening. Thankfully, he "crashed" at the landing, so he only sailed down a few steps and is not badly hurt. Tonight, I told him that he has a carpet burn on his forehead. He said, "But, Mom, the carpet wasn't on fire when I fell out!"
A mother and daughter driving to the shopping mall:
Mom: When I learned how to drive, the high beam switch was on the floor and I think I liked that better. Teen daughter: Really? How the heck did you reach down to turn on the high beams while you were steering the car?! In-bread cat
