| The Golden Motorcycle Gang

|
Jack Canfield, co-author of the New York Times bestselling Chicken Soup for the Soul series and leading figure in the self-help movement, recounts his fascinating life story and how it led to a "vision", during a meditation, of being part of a golden "soul-traveling" motorcycle gang who saw the earth in peril and came here to assist during the crisis. When he shared this story with "super agent" and author William Gladstone (The Twelve), William recognized that his own story and mission was aligned with Jack's, and insisted, "We need to tell this story, because there are more of us out there!" The Return of the Ancient Ones is a unique tale that illustrates how one's fiercest enemy can become one's most aggressive ally. Greetings!
Have you ever had one of those days where you got off to a bad start? Perhaps your alarm didn't go off or you didn't hear it, then you proceeded to spill coffee on your new shirt, and then you got stuck behind a school bus... Your bad day picked up momentum as it continued and you felt like you had no control at all? We've all been there, done that and got the t-shirt. The Holidays are coming and as much as I LOVE this time of year, I have to admit that it can be stressful. So, today, I'd like to give you some simple tips for stopping that bad day in it's tracks and turning it around quickly so that you get the most enjoyment you can from this season.
As always, I've included a couple of book recommendations - one of them is a new book from my mentor Jack Canfield - don't miss this one! There is a little humor to keep you smiling, as well as a recipe for another great tasting, low calorie snack that I prepared for Ct. Style show last week - see the video of my segment HERE!

Tip of The Week - How To Turn A Bad Day Around Fast!
| The first anti-stress tip to try is laughter - it truly is your best weapon against stress! Keep a disk in your car of funny stories or jokes and push the play button! I find fast talking Robin Williams a quick antidote. Crank up the tunes! Nothing changes your mood faster than music. And let loose with some funky dance moves while you're at it. Even in the car, I have been seen dancing in my seat while driving in rush hour traffic. In fact, one day it was stand still traffic and I put the oldies on and was enjoying my best seated dance moves when a truck driver pulled into the lane next to me, gave me a thumbs up and joined in. It was great! "Drop and Give Me Twenty, Soldier!", really! Exercise releases endorphins (feel good hormones) so stop your rushing around and do a few push-ups. Push-ups are strenuous enough to really get your blood pumping, they can be modified so everyone can do them and they only take a minute or two. After all, you're already late, at least make sure that you're in a better mood when you arrive... OK, the first person who correctly names the old TV show that this quote is from wins their choice of one of my DVD's! "Breathe, grasshopper, breathe..." Deep breathing, remembering to make your exhale longer then your inhale is a fabulous calming technique. And, how easy is that?!

A new pastor was visiting the homes of his parishioners. At one house it seemed obvious that someone was at home, but no answer came to his repeated knocks at the door. Therefore, he took out a card and wrote "Revelation 3:20" on the back of it and stuck it in the door. When the offering was processed the following Sunday, he found that his card had been returned. Added to it was this cryptic message, Genesis 3:10." Reaching for his Bible to check out the citation, he broke up in gales of laughter. Revelation 3:20 begins "Behold, I stand at the door and knock." Genesis 3:10 reads, "I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid, for I was naked."
