EFT Tapping speaks directly to your body, bypassing the conscious mind. This technique works with a series of finger taps on acupuncture points on your face and hands, while repeating a phrase. This releases the stress hormones at a cellular level and returns your body to its natural balance. The only point not pictured here is the wrist. For this one, tap the inside of your wrists together at the crease.
Here is the sequence:
First, tap The Karate Chop point on one hand with the finger tips of the other hand while repeating this phrase 3 times:
"Even though I'm holding this pain (trauma, ache, injury, etc) in every cell of my back ( neck, shoulders, hips, etc), I deeply and completely love and accept myself."
Then, use two fingers on each hand to simultaneously tap these points on each side of the face/body, while repeating these phrases. Remember to change the key words (italicized) to match your own circumstances.
Eyebrow (EB): I'm holding this pain in all the muscles of my back
Side of eyebrow (SE): I'm holding this pain in all the ligaments of my back
Under eye (UE): I'm holding this pain in all the tendons of my back
Under nose (UN), just two fingers: I'm holding this pain in all the bones of my back
Chin (CH), just two fingers: I'm holding this pain in all the joints of my back
Collar bone (CB): I'm holding this pain in all the cartilage of my back
Under arm (UA): I'm holding this pain in all the tissues of my back
Wrists (WR), tap together: I'm holding this pain in all the nerves of my back
EB: I'm holding this pain in all the fascia of my back
SE: I'm holding this pain in all the membranes of my back
UE: I'm holding this pain in all the skin of my back
UN: I'm holding this pain in all the fluids of my back
CH: I'm holding this pain in all the fibers of my back
CB: I give my back permission to release this pain from every cell
UA: My back is perfectly safe and no longer needs to hold onto this pain
WR: I give my back permission to release this pain from every cell membrane and cell receptor site.
Repeat this a few times a day. Sometimes people find relief right away, sometimes it takes several tapping sessions. You may feel the pain worsen for a few seconds as you release it from your body, but keep tapping and it will be short lived.
