Thanks to the French Gourmet and all the attendees. We hope everybody had a good time at our last monthly lunch, while enjoying good food! We had to say goodbye to Marine, after all her good work at the Chamber. We wish her "bonne route"!

This month Ms. Elsa L. Berry has been elected the new National President of the French-American Chamber of Commerce, during the FACC National meeting in Minneapolis. Ms Berry, also President of the French-American Chamber of Commerce - New York Chapter, brings valuable experience to her position.
We would also like to remind you that the SDFACC Board Elections 2011 will soon take place, members will be shortly notified. The candidates, Patricia Conner, Pacale Hayem and Stephan Taieb, will run their campaign soon!

Bellamare, LLC is a San Diego based company manufacturing novel oceanographic instruments. It also provides subsea engineering consulting services. Bellamare focuses its activities on the manufacturing and commercialization of remotely operated underwater towed vehicles (ROTV). These towed platforms are specially designed to carry a high performance imaging system used for fisheries research and marine biology. The company is also committed to develop a robust and automated plankton recognition software to complement its offering.
Throughout the years, Bellamare has also been contracted to design and built various custom systems such as full ocean depth camera equipment, various towed subsea vehicles, underwater lasers, time lapse camera units, subsea battery packs and numerous underwater enclosures.
