Jim Waring, Chairman, CleanTECH San Diego, will share his experience from a recent trip to Germany. The focus was market entry of US companies into the German New Energy market.
Mr. Waring has been a real estate attorney for more than 25 years. Currently, he is the co-founder and co- owner of Fl Financial, LLC, a diversified real estate investment and land development firm focused on the identification, purchase, and development of land for residential, commercial, and biotech/industrial use.
Concurrently, he is the founder and Chairman of CleanTech San Diego, a non-profit trade organization group focused on accelerating San Diego's position as a world leader in the clean technology economy. The organization aims to foster the growth of San Diego companies in developing green and sustainable technologies and products.

Christophe Fremont, President and Chief Operating Officer Solar Gard Specialty Films
Mr. Christophe Fremont is President and Chief Operating Officer of Solar Gard in San Diego, a leading player in the energy saving window film market and photovoltaic back-sheet. He globally oversees all aspects of the company's strategic vision, business, sales initiatives and financial operations. Mr. Fremont was promoted to his current position in September 2003 after joining the parent company in April 2002 for Bekaert ECD Solar Systems (Uni-Solar), a manufacturer of amorphous silicon photovoltaic (PV) solar panels. Prior to joining Bekaert, Fremont spent fourteen years at Agfa-Gevaert and Bayer Corporation where he held various senior management positions in France, the United States, Switzerland and Germany. His last position was Vice President, General Manager of Agfa Consumer Imaging Europe, where he was responsible for 600 people and €700 million Euro revenue.
