Sebastien Torre, Vice President

Duane Trombly, Secretary

Jacques Albrecht, Treasurer

Marie Flacassier, Director

Yacine Baroudi, Director

Thank you to all for coming to our "French Wine Rendez-Vous" co-organized with FrenchBioBeach. We really enjoyed catching up with you and meeting our new members!

We hope you are ready to spend this year with us and come to our various events!

Don't miss our 3rd "European American Business Mixer" on October 6th at the "Hilton San Diego Bayfront" in collaboration with the German American Chamber of Commerce California, the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce and the Danish-American Chamber of Commerce.

On Tuesday October 19th, join us to the "Special Security Meeting" and don't miss the opportunity to meet with the French Consul General, Mr. David Martinon.

We would like to thank Brigitte Wester for her dedicated assistance. She is volunteering and lends a hand to the Chamber. We are very grateful to her for her kind help.

In order to better serve our members, we recently launched special commitees:
- a Restaurant committee typo
- a Tech committee
- more committees are coming

We thank the members who are willing to get more involved in the chamber.
The goal of those committees is to join forces to organize events on specific topics and to enable the community to network among a common interest group. You will soon learn more about the events that are being planned.

In addition, we would like to introduce you to Annie Dietrich, our new Marketing Assistant !

We hope that you will enjoy this month's newsletter and we look forward to seeing you at our future events.

Happy reading!

The Consulate General of France in Los Angeles and the French-American Chamber of Commerce will present the "security network" for the French population in San Diego.

David Martinon, Consul General

The security network's goal is to help you to communicate in case of an earthquake or a major disaster.

This network allows the Consulate to collect information about the French community's situation, and to keep in contact with them.

Join us for an informative meeting and come to learn more about security procedures. Don't wait until a catastrophe strikes. It will also be an opportunity to meet the French-American organizations in San Diego and the local members of the Security network!

This event is FREE but you need to RSVP to access:
