Dear Member of the San Diego French
American Chamber of Commerce,
I am writing to inform you of the three
opened positions for the 2010 board election.
Any Member may run for Board positions
or nominate another Member. Members may contact other Members to campaign.
Members may also nominate or run up until the actual voting time. However,
all nominees' names must be in by May 15, 2010.
o Each candidate must be
an active member, be in good standing, and must have agreed to accept
the responsibility of a directorship. o Each candidate must send
a biography and present why they run for Board position and how they
can help the Chamber.o The candidates will serve
two-year terms to replace the directors whose regular terms are expiring.o Also, each candidate must
understand that: - Directors shall be active
and get involved in the Chamber's operations
- Directors shall attend all
the Chamber's events (average 3 events
/month or 6 hours /month)
- Directors shall attend monthly
board meeting (average 2 hours /month)
- Directors shall be French
speakers
We welcome candidates
with membership/sponsorship starting at Circle of Excellence. This is
an unpaid position.
Candidacies must be
first approved by the nominating committee. We will then notify the
names of persons nominated as candidates for directors.
