Become a Legacy Donor today! |
The Legacy for the Children Society provides long-term support for Children's Beach House (CBH). Growth of the CBH building endowment funds is the best way to sustain our high quality programs. Legacy gifts continue to support Ms. Lydia's vision, to help children with special needs reach their highest potential as functioning members of their families and communities. By donating a gift of $10,000 or more to a CBH endowment fund or by including CBH in your estate plan, you will be recognized as a member of our Legacy for the Children Society. Gifts to the endowment fund may be paid over two or three years.
As we approach our 75th Anniversary, individuals who make gifts prior to September 30, 2012, will be included in the Founder's Circle of the Legacy for the Children Society.
We hope you will contact us at 302.655.4288 for further information. Thank you for your continued support.

ISSUE 15 November 2011 | |
Plein Air Brandywine Valley was the ideal way to kick off the 2011 fall season. 130 artists and photographers captured the beauty of the Bandywine Valley. Over 1,000 works were on display for show and sale to benefit CBH and Chester County Art Association, September 30 - October 2, at Tatnall School in Wilmington. The event raised $37,000 for CBH. "We are extremely pleased with the outcome of this amazing event," said Rich Garrett, executive director. "Our success resulted entirely from the tremendous support from volunteers, staff, trustees and artists."

Senior Camp in Session | |
Seniors will arrive in Lewes on Friday and head for Baltimore first thing Saturday morning. "They are in for a busy day, including stops at Baltimore Museum of Art and the Inner Harbor," said Steven Martinenza, CBH program director.
On Sunday, CBH will welcome a guest speaker from the Department of Education whose agenda includes topics such as post-graduation and financial planning.
Seniors will join their families and other CBH families for a potluck dinner to celebrate diversity at 1800 Bay Avenue. This dinner gives the families and staff an opportunity to enjoy quality time and a delicious meal. |
PIXSTAR, INC. Supports CBH | |
Pixstar, Inc., an information technology consulting firm founded in 1998 and headquartered in Lewes, has contributed $10,000 to support CBH's Annual Art Show and Sale. Pixstar CEO George Reissig presented the company's donation to Rich Garrett, executive director.
"This is a wonderful organization," stated Reissig. "I've volunteered for various programs and events at CBH over the years and I've enjoyed every moment of it. Now that I'm so busy with Pixstar and cannot always volunteer my time, I am more than happy to assist where I can."
"CBH is indebted to Pixstar for this generous sponsorship. At a time when the world's economy is shaky, it is meaningful to have a firm step in as Pixstar has. The Pixstar support will mean much to our children and their families," said Rich Garrett.
