Become a Legacy Donor today! |
It is the Legacy for the Children Society that provides the most effective long-term support for Children's Beach House (CBH). Growth of the CBH endowment funds through legacy gifts is the best way to sustain and expand our high quality programs that continue to support Ms. Lydia's vision, to help children with special needs reach their highest potential as functioning members of their families and communities. By donating a gift of $10,000 or more to the CBH endowment fund or by including CBH in your estate plan, you will be recognized as a member of our Legacy for the Children Society. Gifts to the endowment fund may be paid over two or three years.
As we approach our 75th Anniversary, individuals who make gifts prior to September 30, 2012, will be included in the Founder's Circle of the Legacy for the Children Society.
We hope you will contact us at 302.655.4288 for further information, and we thank you for your continued support.

3rd Annual Wine, Food, & Beer Festival | |
Nage Restaurant, located at 19730 Coastal Highway in Rehoboth Beach , hosted its 3rd Annual Wine, Food, & Beer Festival on Sunday, May 1, 2011, from 12 noon - 4p.m. The event featured 14 vendors, 50 wines, beers, and spirits from around the world, and samplings of delicious cuisine by Nage and other specialty shops, including A Touch of Italy, Fifer Orchards, and Cake Break to name a few.
Local guitarist Reedo, DJ Brightside, and Delmarva Broadcasting Company entertained the crowd, while 120 attendees browsed the venue sipping, tasting, and taking chances on various prizes, including unique wines, gift certificates, and event tickets. An amazing assortment of silent auction items including U2 concert tickets and a private tour, tasting, and dinner at the Hudson House in California also created a buzz.
Prior to the event, Nage pledged to donate a percentage of the proceeds from ticket sales to Children's Beach House. In addition, they pledged 100% of the raffle and silent auction to the organization.
Josh Grapski and Mark Harrison of Nage are happy to announce that the event raised a total of $4,145.00 for Children's Beach House. "I feel the event was a complete success," stated Mark Harrison, General Manager for Nage - Rehoboth. "I truly enjoyed planning an event that provided an experience that was both entertaining and enjoyable, while at the same time, supporting a superior cause!"
Nage employees are already working on the 4th Annual Wine, Food, & Beer Festival. Guests can expect the 2012 event to be even larger and occur in early May.
