It's Time
To Get Off The Hamster Wheel!
Just being in motion will never get you to your Big. To do that, you need to be sure you're doing the right things, in the right order, for the right reasons.
This seven-step system clarifies the activities that are mission-critical to your success. It then walks you through a process for creating step-by-step action plans to implement those key activities.
The result? You get off the hamster wheel of motion-without-progress and get on a more direct route to more clients and more money.
Forget about being busy; start getting focused by downloading your no-charge PDF version of the Take Action Now System (tm) today. |

Greetings!
You've probably heard someone pooh-pooh another person's argument by claiming, "That's just a matter of semantics." But in the world according to Kathleen, there's no just about it.
Your words and thoughts are powerful creative tools. That's the good news. The bad news is that you can use them to create either success or failure for yourself and your dreams.
If you're not 100% convinced that you're consciously and intentionally using the power of your words and thoughts to propel yourself forward, be sure to take advantage of the following tips so that what you create is what delights you.

Tip of the Week
Stop calling "fear" and start calling it "excitement.".
This is a fabulous example of how you can benefit from redefining.
How do you feel when you're scared? Chances are your heart rate goes up, your breathing speeds up, and you feel "on edge" or poised for action.
And how do you feel when you're excited? Chances are your heart rate goes up, your breathing speeds up, and you feel "on edge" or poised for action.
So do you want to call that state "fear" or "excitement"? As business coach Brad Sugars has said, "Let the excitement win."

A Really Good Resource
One of my favorite ways to see things in a new and more positive light is my daily dose of Notes From The Universe, available from New York Times best-selling author Mike Dooley. Dooley's website, called Totally Unique Thoughts (TUT) is based on the premise that "thoughts become things" - and that's why he encourages his subscribers to "choose the good ones." You can sign up to receive the e-Notes anywhere from one to five days a week, and I so encourage you to do so. Each Note will be addressed to you and will often - in fact, spookily often - be exactly what helps with a current situation you're facing. A case in point: I wanted to share a recent Note in this ezine, and look what I found in my "Notes From The Universe" file: Performing miracles, Kathleen, isn't a matter of doing the impossible, it's a matter of redefining the possible.
Tallyho,
The Universe
Spooky, huh?

How's This for Success?
Diane Kress is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator. As such, she knows all about creating diets for weight loss, and she's a poster child for eating healthy and exercising faithfully.
Over the course of many years, she noticed that the diets she created worked for some of her patients but not for others. She couldn't help but wonder whether the latter really were following her guidelines. However, when she herself developed Type II diabetes, despite her very healthy lifestyle, she started questioning the traditional nutritional wisdom she'd been dispensing.
As a result, she started doing research that led her to redefine what constitutes an "effective" diet for those people who have what she calls Metabolism B. She shares the results of her research in her book, The Metabolism Miracle: 3 Easy Steps to Regain Control of Your Weight . . . Permanently .
Not only did she use the research results to control her own diabetes, blood pressure, and cholesterol levels, but she also ended up writing a book that ranks in the top 2000 books sold on Amazon.com. Not bad results for someone who was willing to redefine "what works" and "what doesn't."

Thanks to my friend Flickr.
Here are this week's heroes who graciously allowed me to use their images, posted in the Creative Commons area of Flickr, in this issue of Stepping Into Big:

How are you defining your current state of progress? Do words like exciting, focused, effective, fun, and productive spring to mind? Or are words like overwhelmed, deer-in-the-headlights, stalled, and frustrated more accurate for you?
Maybe I can help. My specialty is providing a flexibly structured process that enables you to get clear on what's serving you and what isn't, so that you can act with clarity and confidence. If that sounds like something that could keep your head from exploding, call or e-mail me to set up a let's-see-what-we-see, get-acquainted call.
Wishing you joy on your journey into Big...
