To Get Off The Hamster Wheel!

Just being in motion will never get you to your Big. To do that, you need to be sure you're doing the right things, in the right order, for the right reasons.

Enter the Take Action Now System (tm).

This seven-step system clarifies the activities that are mission-critical to your success. It then walks you through a process for creating step-by-step action plans to implement those key activities.

The result? You get off the hamster wheel of motion-without-progress and get on a more direct route to more clients and more money.

Forget about being busy; start getting focused by downloading your no-charge PDF version of the Take Action Now System (tm) today.

Greetings!

Sometimes our business activities flow smoothly and everything seems to fall into place effortlessly.  Those are times for gratitude and celebration.

However, it's inevitable that we'll hit obstacles in the road to results.  Some may feel like minor speed bumps, while others feel like a redwood tree that's fallen across the path.

Regardless of what we face on any given day, the key to long-term success and satisfaction is persistence - doing the right things day in and day out, even if you don't see the results of your labors right away.

When you're worn out and feeling like you want to quit, get yourself re-launched on your path to Big with the following tools.

Tip of the Week

Fall down seven times, get up eight.

I really can't think of anything else to add to this classic Japanese proverb.
A Really Good Resource

Napoleon Hill, in his classic book Think and Grow Rich, tells the story of a would-be gold miner who got tired of not finding any gold and quit digging.  Imagine his chagrin when the person he sold the land to uncovered a large vein of gold just three feet beyond where the first man quit digging.

This story clearly illustrates the rewards of persistence, and it's one of many such real-life triumphs shared in Three Feet from Gold: Turn Your Obstacles in Opportunities, by Sharon Lechter and Greg Reid. Next time your energy is dragging because results seem nowhere in sight, re-charge yourself by reading a chapter or two of this book.
How's This for Success?

How long does it make sense to persist in following up with a prospect?  I guess it depends on (1) what the potential reward is and (2) how strongly you crave that reward.

When Amy Lokken, founder and chief designer at Modular Marketing Systems, first connected with a fabulous prospect, she wasn't exactly sure what the potential was - but she was determined to find out.  She stayed in touch  for two years - not hovering like a vulture, but professionally and persistently staying in touch.  And she got her reward: her biggest order ever.

I love happy endings.

Persistence in the face of obstacles - or in the face of overwhelm - is a trait of all successful business professionals.  However, it's important to persist in doing the right things if you're serious about achieving your business goals.  And confidently choosing those "right things" can be a challenge all by itself when you're a highly creative type with a zillion great business-development ideas that are all clamoring for your attention and energy.

Maybe I can help.  My specialty is providing a flexibly structured process that enables you to organize, prioritize, and act with clarity and confidence.  If that sounds like something that could keep your head from exploding, call or e-mail me to set up a let's-see-what-we-see, get-acquainted call.

Wishing you joy on your journey into Big...
