It's Time
To Get Off The Hamster Wheel!
Just being in motion will never get you to your Big. To do that, you need to be sure you're doing the right things, in the right order, for the right reasons.
This seven-step system clarifies the activities that are mission-critical to your success. It then walks you through a process for creating step-by-step action plans to implement those key activities.
The result? You get off the hamster wheel of motion-without-progress and get on a more direct route to more clients and more money.
Forget about being busy; start getting focused by downloading your no-charge PDF version of the Take Action Now System (tm) today. |

Greetings!
An ancient Latin observation is as relevant today as it was when first made nearly two thousand years ago: Fortune favors the bold.
Think about it. If you never take any risks, your world remains small; you may be comfortable, but you're unlikely to feel fulfilled.
There's definitely a difference between being willing to risk and being foolhardy. The challenge is to be prudent in your risk-taking - to do everything possible to set yourself up for success, then take a deep breath and make a leap of faith.
If you've realized that becoming more willing to risk is a necessary component of Stepping Into Big, these tools will help you do just that.

Tip of the Week
Play to win instead of playing not to lose. While it's often easy to distinguish between a win and a loss after the fact, it's less easy to be confident that, in the heat of business battle, you're really being bold and playing to win.
It's unfortunately easy to think we're taking serious action, when in reality all we're doing is going through the motions. We're more scared of losing than excited about winning.
When you're contemplating a course of action, ask yourself: "Am I really committed to winning? Am I using all my available resources to succeed in this endeavor? Or am I actually playing small so that I'm not likely to lose?"
If you're playing not to lose, it's time to step up and start playing to win. You'll not only build your "courage muscles", you'll also enjoy more satisfying results.

A Really Good Resource
There are a lot of scary things facing entrepreneurs these days. In fact, there are as many scary things as there are entrepreneurs! You may fear the possibility of losing clients, or tooting your own horn, or stepping out onto a bigger stage, or wasting money on a bad investment. If you're ready to boldly start taking advantage of one of the most popular social media available, let Rebecca Metz hold your hand as you navigate Facebook. Rebecca's latest program, Fan Pages That Sell, removes much of the fear associated with taking advantage of this powerful marketing platform. Check out her site for a no-charge video course that explains, in non-geeky terms, how to profit from online marketing.

How's This for Success?
You can often find the courage to take a risk when you focus on what you stand to gain by doing so.
Sarah Schuette, founder of Dirty Business Soil Consulting and Analysis, entered her business plan in a contest for college students and recent grads. She was willing to risk her plan being judged "not good enough" because the payoff if she won was a $25,000 prize.
Sarah could have talked herself out of even making the attempt, but she didn't. Not only did she build her confidence by submitting her plan for judgment, but she also ended up by building her bank account - to the tune of $25,000. Risk does have its rewards.

Thanks to my friend Flickr.
Here are this week's heroes who graciously allowed me to use their images, posted in the Creative Commons area of Flickr, in this issue of Networking Nuggets:

Maybe you're one of those people who's pretty fearless about taking action - once you know what action to take. But with all the business-building tools and resources out there, it can be scary-to-the-point-of-paralyzing to make a decision about where to invest your time, money, and energy.
Maybe I can help. My specialty is providing a flexibly structured process that enables you to commit to acting with clarity and confidence. If that sounds like something that could keep your head from exploding, call or e-mail me to set up a let's-see-what-we-see, get-acquainted call.
Wishing you joy on your journey into Big...

P.S. - How many times have you looked on the links below without clicking on them? I'm officially taking what feels like a scary step in asking you to stop thinking about Liking and Following me and to just do it. You'll enjoy the results (especially after Rebecca Metz gets done spiffing up my Facebook fan page. Woohoo!).
