It's Time
To Get Off The Hamster Wheel!
Just being in motion will never get you to your Big. To do that, you need to be sure you're doing the right things, in the right order, for the right reasons.
This seven-step system clarifies the activities that are mission-critical to your success. It then walks you through a process for creating step-by-step action plans to implement those key activities.
The result? You get off the hamster wheel of motion-without-progress and get on a more direct route to more clients and more money.

Greetings!
Thomas Edison experimented with literally thousands of ideas before he successfully created the incandescent light bulb. I suspect his almost super-human persistence and patience were the result of his attitude, summarized in this famous quote: "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."
While that comment makes me laugh, it's this observation of Edison's that energizes me: "Many of life's failures are [people] who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up."
If you're willing to fail just a few more times so you can succeed big, read on for tools to help you on your way.

Tip of the Week
When you drop the ball, review your actions to identify what you will do more effectively next time. While it's sometimes tempting to whine when things go awry, it's far more productive to identify what went wrong and what you can do to fix it the next time. This is not a time to beat up on yourself; rather, it's an opportunity to objectively evaluate what worked, so you can duplicate it in the future, and what didn't work, so you can avoid it next time.

A Really Good Resource
Ideally, we all learn from our mistakes. One lesson you might take away is how to do a task better and more effectively the next time you come up against it. A totally different lesson is that sometimes your most effective course of action is to let someone else handle a task. For those of you who struggle to share your compelling story, Nancy Tierney of Firecracker Communications just may be the person to save your sanity. Nancy's gift is crafting powerful and effective marketing messages. If you've been waiting to launch that new product because you can't write a decent landing page, or you need help spicing up your blog posts, or you have no clue how to create great copy for your autoresponder e-mails...let Nancy get those monkeys off your back.

How's This for Success?
So you think you're huffing and puffing to succeed? It could be worse. You could be a divorced, unemployed, single mom relying on public assistance; trying to generate some form of self-employment income; forced to use a manual typewriter because you can't afford a laptop; enduring a dozen rejections of your proposed product by people who "knew" what was commercially viable.
Of course, if you were this woman, you would now be internationally famous and have a net worth of approximately 1 billion dollars (US).
J.K. Rowling failed her way to success. And what she can do, you can do, too. The question is, What will your Big look like?

Thanks to my friend Flickr.
Here are this week's heroes who graciously allowed me to use their images, posted in the Creative Commons area of Flickr, in this issue of Networking Nuggets:

Persistence in the face of repeated failures (also known as learning experiences) is essential to ultimate success. You've probably learned a lot so far and are now faced with incorporating all those lessons into an action plan for results.
Maybe I can help. My specialty is providing a flexibly structured process that enables you to apply your lessons and move ahead with clarity and confidence. If that sounds like something that could keep your head from exploding, call or e-mail me to set up a let's-see-what-we-see, get-acquainted call.
Wishing you joy on your journey into Big...
