It's Time
To Get Off The Hamster Wheel!

Just being in motion will never get you to your Big. To do that, you need to be sure you're doing the right things, in the right order, for the right reasons.

Enter the Take Action Now System (tm).

This seven-step system clarifies the activities that are mission-critical to your success. It then walks you through a process for creating step-by-step action plans to implement those key activities.

The result? You get off the hamster wheel of motion-without-progress and get on a more direct route to more clients and more money.

Forget about being busy; start getting focused by downloading your no-charge PDF version of the Take Action Now System (tm) today.

Every moment of every day, we're faced with some sort of choice. Whether it's a big or little one facing us, we get to deal with the consequences of the choices we make.

I had a chance this week to choose how to spend my evening. One of my MasterMind buddies called me at 5:15, asking if I was free for a spur-of-the-moment evening out with our other MM colleague. I knew I could opt to stay in and play catch-up with some e-mails, or I could get together with these women who inevitably inspire, encourage, and amuse me. Guess which choice I made?

We met in a charming, refurbished train-depot-turned-restaurant. Over dinner and a lovely bottle of wine, we shared resources, marketing ideas, and success stories (both personal and professional). We left with our minds racing and our energy high.

Were the e-mails waiting for me when I got home? Certainly. Did I make the right choice for my long-term success? Absolutely.

As you're faced with your endless choices, see which of the following tools make it easier to pick the choice that will enable you to step further into Big.

Tip of the Week
Use those irritating people in your life as a spur to personal growth.
We all know those people - the ones who are serious irritants. Having at least a few of them in your world is just a fact of life.  We get to accept that and figure out a way to use it to our advantage.
It's been said that what we find irritating in other people simply reflects what we find irritating in ourselves. So the next time you're aggravated by someone showing up late to an appointment, or making excuses, or complaining about what's wrong without doing anything to make it a caring and honest self-evaluation to see if you're doing any of those things yourself.
The key is to apply the lesson without "should"ing on yourself.  That's sometimes easier said than done, but so worthwhile.
A Really Good Resource

John Maxwell is credited with the observation that "Change is inevitable; growth is optional." In other words, change will happen one way or the other; it's how we choose to deal with it that creates the outcomes we experience.

If you're ready to approach change intentionally and powerfully, check out Change Your Life in 30 Days: A Personal Power Change Guide, by Dr. Verna Cornelia Price.  This small but mighty workbook leads you by the hand through the often-challenging process of changing what's not working for you.  Dr. Price shows you that you don't have to accept what is if you don't like it, and she provides tools for making change - and the resulting personal growth - happen.
How's This for Success?

Teresa Thomas-Carroll, owner of Connection Concierge, knows all about accepting what is and moving beyond it.

Teresa recently took her kids to a place where they could jump on trampolines to their hearts' content.  Jumping, flipping, butt bouncing - the kids were having a fabulous time playing.

Adults are also allowed to jump, but Teresa has always been freaked by the idea of doing a flip on the trampoline .  However, she realized that she had a choice - to stay in a fearful place, or to practice doing what's uncomfortable so she has more confidence and courage in the future.

The result of her choice?  Not one, not two, not three, but four somersaults on the trampoline. I guess that's what's known as flipping your way into Big.

You face dozens of choices every day. Some will move you forward; some will hold you back. Some choices are easy to make and carry out, while others require all your determination to even make, much less implement.

It's often difficult to choose what business-develop activities to address, simply because there are so many choices available to you. If that sounds depressingly familiar, maybe I can help.  Call or e-mail me to set up a free get-acquainted call, so we can figure out whether or not, between the two of us, we can make your options more clear and your decision-making easier.

Wishing you a terrific time as you travel your path to Big...
