It's Time
To Get Off The Hamster Wheel!

Just being in motion will never get you to your Big. To do that, you need to be sure you're doing the right things, in the right order, for the right reasons.

Enter the Take Action Now System (tm).

This seven-step system clarifies the activities that are mission-critical to your success. It then walks you through a process for creating step-by-step action plans to implement those key activities.

The result? You get off the hamster wheel of motion-without-progress and get on a more direct route to more clients and more money.

Forget about being busy; start getting focused by downloading your no-charge PDF version of the Take Action Now System (tm) today.

Greetings!

I'll bet a lot of people have heard the saying that "The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."  It's a great reminder that to simply get going is often one of the most challenging aspects of creating a successful outcome.

One of the more effective ways I sabotage myself is to focus on something other than that crucial first step.  Being very creative, I've devised multiple ways to screw myself up:

  • I think about all the steps that I know will follow the first one, and I get paralyzed thinking about the sheer number of them.
  • I don't know what the first step is, and I run around in mental circles so fast that I get dizzy and prevent myself from figuring it out.
  • I convince myself that my progress from that first step will be easy and linear, then I freak out when I realize that it isn't (and probably never has been, never will be).
Yippee.

Fortunately, I have an amazing resource and support network that I can tap for help in staying on track.  When you need a nudge in the right direction, see what the following suggestions do for you.
Tip of the Week

Keep your eyes on the prize.

If you stay focused on all the hoops you have to jump through to achieve your desired goal, you risk draining your energy. However, if you focus on how fantastic it will feel to reach your destination, that vision will pull you through obstacles and challenges.
A Really Good Resource

This resource is worth far more than its weight in gold, is available 24/7, is enormously versatile, and has unlimited potential for helping you grow.

It's your brain.

One of the best ways to use your brain is to use it to experience, in advance, the fabulous results of taking all the individual steps needed to reach a sought-after goal.

Before starting a task that's kind of scary, spend just a few minutes basking in how it will feel to have successfully accomplished that task (and all the others needed to reach your goal).  Emotions drive our actions.  When we know there's a luscious reward waiting for us, the "pre-experience" of the reward will get us through the steps needed to achieve it.
How's This for Success?

Parker Investment Properties

All of us have things we dislike or actively fear.  One of my Mastermind colleagues, Lisa Parker of Parker Investment Properties, really doesn't like flying.  That's kind of a challenge for her, since the only way she can reach her Mastermind group in the States is to fly.

From Australia.

How does she handle it?  By focusing on what she'll gain from being with her group: tools to keep building her business, an energy boost from like-minded entrepreneurs, support for her big aspirations, and lots of cheering and congratulations on her accomplishments.

By keeping her attention on what she'll gain, rather than what she has to go through, Lisa's able to handle the 13-hour flight with far more calm than she ever thought she could experience.  A good lesson for the rest of us!
