It's Time
To Get Off The Hamster Wheel!

Just being in motion will never get you to your Big. To do that, you need to be sure you're doing the right things, in the right order, for the right reasons.

Enter the Take Action Now System (tm).

This seven-step system clarifies the activities that are mission-critical to your success. It then walks you through a process for creating step-by-step action plans to implement those key activities.

The result? You get off the hamster wheel of motion-without-progress and get on a more direct route to more clients and more money.

Forget about being busy; start getting focused by downloading your no-charge PDF version of the Take Action Now System (tm) today.

I had the wildest experience yesterday. It was so big and terrific that it pretty much inspired this entire newsletter.  I'll invite you to jump right in and see what I mean.

Tip of the Week
Be prepared so that when opportunity presents itself, you're ready to reap the rewards.

Over the last few months I've shifted gears substantially.  Instead of going for the adrenaline rush of preparing for a project or important activity just as the deadline looms, I've been laying the groundwork well in advance.  It's already paying off for me big time; read how in the success story. (Yes, it stars me this month.)
A Really Good Resource

As you expand your audience regionally, nationally, or globally, you'll need to take advantage of technology to do so.  I just had my inaugural experience with FreeConferenceCalling, and it was smooth as silk.  As someone who has only recently claimed Alpha status as the dominant partner in my relationship with technology, this is huge (and a very pleasant surprise).
How's This for Success?

Oh. My. Gosh. This was just too cool not to toot my own horn about it.

I made a commitment to my daily accountability buddy that I'd email the three other members of my MasterMind group to ask when they could find time to let me use them as guinea pigs for a talk I'm giving at the Career Directors International annual conference in October. All I'd hoped for from this initial request was figuring out a day of the week when the four of us might be able to call in to my new bridge line. (My goals were to start familiarizing myself with this technology and to fine-tune my talk.) Since I have fabulous women playing in my sandbox, they all said that they could be on the line at 7:30 p.m. that same night. Yikes!

Once my eyes finished bugging out of my head, I let everyone know I was able to take them up on their offer. You see, I had already given a pared-down version of my talk once, and had immediately afterwards updated my notes for it.  I had also, a couple of weeks prior, set up my account at FreeConferenceCalling, so I was able to send them the log-in information for my virgin bridge line.

The end result?  I was in control of my technology, I got invaluable feedback from women who are all my ideal clients, and I had a chance to practice stepping into my own big.  Woohoo!

Thanks to my friend Flickr.

Here are this week's heroes who graciously allowed me to use their images, posted in the Creative Commons area of Flickr, in this issue of Networking Nuggets

As I move forward on the path to my own bigger, bolder future, I'm getting more and more clear that progress is not measured in the occasional giant leap, but rather in modest steps taken with determination, faith, and consistency.

It that sounds like the way you want to go, but you're kind of huffing and puffing as you try to organize and implement those steps, maybe I can help.  Call or e-mail me to set up a free get-acquainted call, so we can figure out whether or not we're a fabulous match.

Wishing you a terrific time as you travel your path to Big...
