Greetings!
Minnesota is located roughly dead center of the North American land mass.
"And I care about this why?," you may be asking.
Because, despite having no moderating influences from any ocean of any sort, it's finally warming up here! We're all kind of delirious with joy that everything is finally starting to grow and green up, and I invite you to join in our celebration.
I hope the same is true of your business - that you're seeing your revenues and profits bloom. We all need a certain amount of help to make this happen, and I like to believe that Networking Nuggets is like a monthly shot of fertilizer. (Wait, that didn't come out quite right...)
I'm jumping on the bandwagon of birth and new growth by making some changes to my business that I trust will create even more value to you in your endeavors. One of the most noticeable changes is that I'm switching from a brief monthly version of Nuggets to an even more tightly focused
weekly format.
If you appreciated how quick and easy to read this newsnote has been in the past, you'll be even more pleased now. You'll get one kick-ass resource and one action-oriented tip, so you'll find it easier than ever to focus on one activity each week to increase your productivity, clarity, and sanity.
I'm confident this is a change for the better. If you agree (or if you don't), let me know what you think.

May's Top Tip
Develop a color-coding system to organize and easily find hard-copy notes you take at personal and professional development workshops.
For example, I use green sticky-note flags for all notes on "developing a success mind set", blue ones for "social media and online marketing", yellow for "marketing and sales"...you get the idea.
Now, whether I'm looking through the notebook I take to each workshop or through a three-ring binder of handouts, I only check out pages marked with the correct color flag. It saves huge amounts of time and frustration when I want to track down that one particular bit of helpful information.

How's This for Success?
Okay, I'm gonna toot my own horn - which is tootable thanks to you. I was recently selected as a Constant Contact All-Star. This means that, of the hundreds of thousands of business professionals who use Constant Contact, I was among those with the highest open and click-through rates, as well as the lowest bounce rates.
Thank you for reading my newsletter often enough to earn me this award. I'm delighted by the evidence that you find value in it.
As someone whose Love Language is "Words of Affirmation", I so appreciate having Constant Contact bestow on me the word WINNER!

Thanks to my friend Flickr.
Here are this month's heroes who graciously allowed me to use their images, posted in the Creative Commons area of Flickr, in this issue of Networking Nuggets:
