It's Time
To Get Off The Hamster Wheel!
Just being in motion will never get you to your Big. To do that, you need to be sure you're doing the right things, in the right order, for the right reasons.
This seven-step system clarifies the activities that are mission-critical to your success. It then walks you through a process for creating step-by-step action plans to implement those key activities.
The result? You get off the hamster wheel of motion-without-progress and get on a more direct route to more clients and more money.
Forget about being busy; start getting focused by downloading your no-charge PDF version of the Take Action Now System (tm) today. |

Greetings!
As I write this, it truly feels like the dead of winter here in Minnesota. Although there's no snow in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, there is a whole lot of dark. Today is the winter solstice in the northern hemisphere - the shortest day of the entire year.
While I feel somewhat down during this dark time, I'm also excited, because I know that the days will start to get longer tomorrow.
When we seem to hit the "long, dark night of the soul", whether in our business or personal lives, we can encourage ourselves to hang in there a bit longer by reminding ourselves that hope and light truly are in our future...maybe even right around the corner.
If you find yourself in some dark times, I hope you'll find some ideas here that help you step back into the light.

Tip of the Week
Get out in the sun more.
A number of studies point to a link between low levels of vitamin D3 and depression. One way to boost your levels of this important vitamin is to get out in the sun, which stimulates your body's production of D3. You'll probably feel better with adequate amounts of vitamin D3 - and doesn't your business deserve all the energy you can bring to it?

A Really Good Resource
If you think you have to be born with a sunny view of life, think again.
If you're ready to take charge of your attitudes and emotions, this could be a great starting place.

How's This for Success?
When you're faced with an important business decision, it can feel like you're struggling to find your way out of a dark room. You can shed some light on the problem by getting clear on what outcomes you want to produce. Just ask Debra Wengert.
Deb is my fabulous accountability buddy in a 12-month coaching program. She's starting to build her private therapy practice while still employed at an agency. Naturally, she has multiple goals: to serve her private clients by providing huge value, to avoid a conflict of interest with her agency employer, to act with authenticity and integrity, and to make a lot of money in the process.
By keeping her mind and heart open, she realized she could achieve all those outcomes by focusing her private practice on people with chronic pain issues. Once she declared that this was her focus, people dealing with this challenge started appearing everywhere she looked. Woohoo!

Thanks to my friend Flickr.
Here are this week's heroes who graciously allowed me to use their images, posted in the Creative Commons area of Flickr, in this issue of Networking Nuggets:

While the dark time of year can be great for incubating new ideas, I'm glad to be moving closer to the time when those great ideas can burst into full bloom.
Wishing you an upsurge of light and laughter...
