Where did Fall go?!?!  I sit, huddled at my little desk, writing this as my legs are pressed up against my store bought heater...contemplating the fact that I haven't been on one hay ride, bought a single pie at Patterson's or had my share of Honey Crisp Apples yet this season. As the leaves continue to fall and we all begin to dust off our Winter coats I do find comfort as I pull out all of our extra Quilts from the cupboard knowing for the months to come I get to huddle under the layers of warmth that they provide.  From my Wedding Quilt to the Quilt I had on my bed as a teenager...I am reminded of all the Love and time that went into every stitch and how blessed I am to have such a heart warming collection.

 

 

 

We are so excited to be heading into the Holiday season for the first time since we opened in February of this year.  It has been an incredible 9 months so far!  The store is brimming with Holiday prints, fun gift items, handy tools/notions for your favorite quilter, gorgeous ready made quilts.  The Elves are busy coming up with Holiday display ideas, unique gift items not to mention what kind of Candy to have on hand at the check out counter (which is nice and close to my desk)

We have had a busy October - one of our record months so far.  The traffic created by some of the areas Shop Hops was fantastic.  We hear it was a big success for all the stores involved and luckily the word spread about us and people made sure to include us on their route!  We were happy to announce our Grand Prize winner on Halloween and boy was she happy to receive such a beautiful collection of Fabric in her Quilt Kit! 

 

Quilting with Machines was fantastic wasn't it?  Congrats to one of our teachers,Kathy McCarty, and everyone else involved for bringing such a Great event to our area and doing such a fabulous job. Monique and Jill took many classes and my In Tray is brimming with all the information they brought back.  They both are also happy to announce they are now both holding PH.D's in Threadology after attending Superior Thread's informative presentation!

Remember to stay on top of our NEWS section (we have archived the 'Old' news so it shouldn't take too long to download anymore) I know you won't believe it but we have had new shipments arriving almost everyday for the last 2 weeks.  A sampling of the new lines is up on the site but to get a real 'feel' for the new fabric - you will have to come in and witness the growth for yourself!
