WE ARE OFF to Quilt Market in Pittsburgh this weekend!  Hooray for us, because we are so excited to go, and Hooray for you because we are sure to come back with MANY new goodies.  Monique & Hilary have filled up most of the weekend with appointments to view the latest fabric lines and newest gadgets.  But to make room for all this new stuff - we have to clear some of our current stock out!  Our staff is planning a SECRET SALE - meaning you won't know what we are doing until you come in to see!  Believe us - it will be worth it - knowing them!  The bosses are going to sit back, close their eyes and let it happen! So come in on Saturday May, 16th and Love life!

 

Our classes are filling up fast!  We have had an overwhelming response to our Machine Quilting class with Kathy McCarty so we scheduled 2 more!  We have already almost filled up one of them so hurry and book now!   Monique has been busy filling up the class board with many, exciting new adventures in Quilting.  Our June and July schedule are up and we left some 'FREE' dates in case someone wants to learn something special. Come in an sign up asap as spaces are limited! We are trying something new at Quilts & Sew Forth.  We are starting to teach kids and we are so excited about it!  We have 2 series starting; the first is our 'Slumber Series' where the kids will make pyjama pants and a pillow case while they eat popcorn and drink pop to the tunes of their choice...just like at a real slumber party and the second is our 'Intro to Patchwork & Quilting - for kids', where the kids will learn the fundamentals of the art!  What a great way for your children to spend some time during the holidays this Summer!  So come in and sign them up before the classes fill up.

 

Our  Fabric challenge is coming to a close on May 29th.  Those of you who want a quick challenge - we still have a few bags left!  Those of you who have already purchased your fabric for the challenge - I hope you are busy working because there isn't much time left!  We have had great turnout this month!    Remember the winner receives a Gift Certificate to Quilts & Sew Forth and the finished projects will be displayed in the store, on the website and in the June Newsletter.  Come in, sign up, and be INSPIRED! 

 

Our Scissor Sharpening event was such a great success!  Since so many have requested his return - we are scheduling something for the end of June.  So get your scissors and knives ready!  We will send out the dates in our June newsletter.  Remember he can sharpen anything while you wait.  His prices are on our website!
