New Planes & Service for Gulfstream
Gulfstream International Airlines has started non-stop daily flights between Orlando, Florida and Marsh Harbour, Abaco. The short one-hour twenty-minute flight leaves Orlando in the early morning and departs Marsh Harbour in the early evening making day trips to Abaco possible. At the same time, Gulfstream International Airlines announce that it has reached an agreement with Saab Aircraft Leasing to purchase six 34-seat Saab turboprop regional airliners. Gulfstream, which serves more destinations in The Bahamas than any other U.S. carrier, will deploy all six Saab turboprops on its intra-Florida and Florida-Bahamas routes, replacing smaller, 19-seat Beech 1900D aircraft. Gulfstream International Airlines says that, in its service, the Saab will feature comfortable seating for 34 passengers; large, easy-to-access overhead bins; personalized flight attendant service; an active noise reduction system; and convenient on-board lavatories. The carrier started integrating the six Saab regional airliners into its fleet over a nine-month period that began in mid-November. BBC anglers can streamline their travel with Gulfstream SunPacs, the most affordable way to buy tickets with added benefits on Gulfstream.
