TopGoione & BBC Team-up for 2011
      

The Bahamas Billfish Championship and world renowned marine artist Steve T. Goione have creatively joined forces for 2011. In a joint effort to present the 2011 BBC Overall Champion a unique and personal award, this year's recipient will receive an original watercolor/pen and ink illustration of their sportfishing yacht by Steve T. The illustration, which will depict the yacht in a scene created by Steve and the owner, will be awarded personally by Steve at the fifth and final leg in Treasure Cay, June 22nd thru the 25th.  Steve will meet with the owner and direct the initial photo shoot of the yacht at that time.

"Not only am I thrilled to be part of creating this extremely unique 2011 BBC Overall Champion award, the privilege of partnering with my longtime friends who run the BBC on this project makes it that much more exciting for me," said Goione. "The sportfishing yacht illustration I will be providing is a very detailed and intimate painting and with the world class fisherman the BBC attracts, I anticipate illustrating one of the top billfish yachts on the entire East Coast. Along with owning the actual original illustration, we have decided to not only supply the owner with high-res CD's of the illustration but to award them all the marketing and promotional rights, this will allow the printing of apparel and promotional goods for the yacht at the owners discretion."

Two Weeks Remain for 5% Savings & FREE Cruising Permit
     
      There's still time to save on your BBC entry fees and be eligible for a Bahamas Temporary Cruising Permit Rebate. Join the nearly twenty teams that have already taken advantage these great savings.
  • Tournament Entry Fees received prior to January 31, 2011 are eligible for a 5% discount.
  • Only BBC entries received in December and January are eligible for the Bahamas Temporary Cruising Permit Rebate.
      As announced in November, those teams that sign-up for the BBC Early Bird Discount will automatically be eligible for a Bahamas Temporary Cruising Permit Rebate.
      If you enter and pay your BBC entry fees before January 31, 2011, you'll save 5% and be eligible for the Cruising Permit rebate.
      Whether you are planning to fish one or all five tournaments, this is an excellent opportunity to fish the BBC, cruise the Out Islands of The Bahamas and save. Your team needs to act before the end of January to receive the benefits of these combined programs.
      The Early Bird Discount applies only to Tournament Entry Fees; not the mandatory BBC Membership fee. All tournament Entry Fees are due and payable 30-days prior to the start of each 2011 BBC tournament. The BBC Registration Fee is non-refundable. Tournament Entry Fees become non-refundable 30-days prior to the tournament start date.
