FREE Temporary Cruising Permit
Through the cooperation of the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism those teams that sign-up for the BBC Early Bird Discount will automatically be eligible for a Bahamas Temporary Cruising Permit Rebate. For most of our teams that's an additional $300 savings for early registration.
Now with the Cruising Permit Rebate there is even more reason to enter the BBC early. Your team can save a full 10% on the 2011 Bahamas Billfish Championship entry fees if you enter and pay before December 31, 2010. That's a savings of $1,300 for teams fishing all five BBC tournaments that enter early and take advantage of the Rebate.
If you enter and pay your BBC entry fees before January 31, 2011, you'll save 5% and still be eligible for the Cruising Permit rebate. Either way, the earlier you enter, the greater the savings.
- Pay your tournament Entry Fees prior to December 31, 2010 and receive a 10% discount.
- Tournament Entry Fees received prior to January 31, 2011 are eligible for a 5% discount.
- Only BBC entries received in December and January are eligible for the Bahamas Temporary Cruising Permit Rebate.
Regardless whether you are planning to fish one or all five tournaments, this is an excellent opportunity to fish the BBC, cruise the Out Islands and save money. However, your team needs to act before the end of this month to get the maximum benefit of these combined programs.
The Early Bird Discount applies only to Tournament Entry Fees; not the mandatory BBC Membership fee. All tournament Entry Fees are due and payable 30-days prior to the start of each 2011 BBC tournament. The BBC Registration Fee is non-refundable. Tournament Entry Fees become non-refundable 30-days prior to the tournament start date.

Temporary Cruising Permit Rebate
The Early Bird Discount is available exclusively for early registrants of The 2011 Bahamas Billfish Championship (BBC). - Register and pay by December 31st, 2010 and receive 10% off of your BBC entry fee(s) PLUS a FREE Bahamas Temporary Cruising Permit fee rebate.
- Register and pay by January 31st, 2011 and receive 5% off of your BBC entry fee(s) PLUS a FREE Bahamas Temporary Cruising Permit fee rebate.
Registration and entries must be made directly with the Bahamas Billfish Championship in order to qualify.
To apply for the rebate, BBC registrants must provide The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism (1200 S. Pine Island Road, Suite 750, Plantation, FL 33324 ATTN: Karen Wring) with copies of: - The Bahamas Temporary Cruising Permit covering the BBC tournaments fished.
- A copy of The Bahamas Billfish Championship Registration receipt.
Limit ONE Bahamas Cruising Permit rebate per registered BBC boat: $150 for boats up to 35' and $300 for boats above 35'

Reimbursement for the Bahamas Cruising Permit will be mailed within 30 days after all required documents are received by The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism.
