TopEnter Early & Save!
Your team can save a full 10% on the 2010 Bahamas Billfish Championship entry fees if you enter and pay before December 31, 2009. In October the BBC announced an 'Early Bird Discount' for teams that pay their tournament entry fees before February 28, 2010. In fact, the earlier you enter, the greater the savings.
  • Pay your tournament Entry Fees prior to December 31, 2009 and receive a 10% discount.
  • Tournament Entry Fees received prior to January 31, 2010 are eligible for a 5% discount.
  • A 2% discount will apply to Entry Fees received prior to February 28, 2010.
According to Al Behrendt, BBC President, "As you can imagine, with everyone looking to save money these days, the reaction to the Early Bird Discount has been enthusiastically received by our anglers. Beside saving the anglers money, the early registrations allows for much more accurate head counts that are necessary for planning five tournaments in The Bahamas."
If you are planning to fish all five BBC tournaments in 2010, you can save $1,000 by paying the entry fees by December 31st. Your team needs to act before the end of this month to get the maximum discount.
The Tournament Entry forms (see download below) have an area where the Early Bird Discount can be deducted. Quite simply, the earlier you enter the more money you save.
The Early Bird Discount applies only to Tournament Entry Fees; not the mandatory BBC Membership fee. All tournament Entry Fees are due and payable 30-days prior to the start of each 2010 BBC tournament. The BBC Registration Fee is non-refundable. Tournament Entry Fees become non-refundable 30-days prior to the tournament start date.
NOTE: The forms in this kit can be completed electronically using new versions of Adobe Acrobat
Host Resorts Prepare for BBC 2010
Cape Eleuthera       Major improvements to several of the BBC's host resorts are already underway in preparation for the 2010 BBC season.
Cape Eleuthera Resort & Marina is expanding their slips to accommodate the BBC fleet. In the photo (right) Eleuthera Construction from Spanish Wells is shown relocating bow tie-off pilings near the dive shop. In total the resort owners are investing more than $50,000 in capital improvements to the resort facilities to better serve groups like the BBC.
At Treasure Cay Resort & Marina a major upgrade to the electrical power on the docks is underway. Three Romora Bayphase transformers manufactured in the US have been shipped to Treasure Cay for the project.
The new Romora Bay Resort & Marina on Harbour Island reports that the new Dockmaster's Office and Crew Lounge is open (left photo). Both the Sunset Bar & Grille and the Vue Fine Dining restaurants open December 16th.
Be sure to watch for the winter issue of The Teaser for more information regarding our 2010 BBC host resorts.
