For Dugan McLaughlin's team
Juel Marie the final day of the 2009 Boat Harbour Championship will be talked about for years to come. With only 200 points on the scoreboard for a white marlin released on day-two,
Juel Marie trailed tournament leader
True Grit by 1,200 points as the committee boat called 'lines in' for the third and final day. By day's end,
Juel Marie had achieved a grand slam catching a sailfish, white marlin and a blue for 900 points plus 700 bonus points for the grand slam for a tournament total of 1,800 points.
For the first two days of the tournament, three teams dominated the competition during the fourth leg of the 2009 Bahamas Billfish Championship at
Abaco Beach Resort & Boat Harbour.

True Grit had a white marlin and both Junior Davis'
Wave Paver and Bobby Jacobsen's
Marlin Darlin had a sailfish. Day-three; however, belonged to
Juel Marie as the three leaders were unable to put any more points on the board.
When the committee boat called 'lines out' on the final day,
Juel Marie had 1,800 points,
True Grit 1,400 points and
Marlin Darlin had 1,330 points. For their First Place finish, the Knoxville, Tennessee based
