CREATIVITY AT THE SWEATBOX

Thanks to all of the students who wrote "SweatBox Vacation" Essays. Below is a poem written by Capitol Hill SweatBox student Dannul Dailey. The poem is inspired by Gary's end of class ritual. Thanks Dannul!

GARY'S WARM DOWN

Relax your eyes

Relax your nose

But first let's get started with your toes

Relax those digits on the floor

Relax your ankles for a little more

Relax your calves and relax your knees

Relax your mind... please, please, please

Relax your thighs; they've worked so hard

Relax your legs and relax your guard

Relax your hips and that whole thing

Relax your butt...you know what I mean

Relax your back, breath in and out

Relax your stomach ...don't stick it out

Relax your chest as we go up

Relax your chin don't keep it tucked

Relax your eyelids, don't look or stare

Relax your forehead and every hair

Now you're done, you should feel rested

For you all know...you've done your bested

Now....

Relax your mind....

            Relax your mind....

                        Relax your mind...

Open your heart.

Namaste
