A REPORT FROM OUR FIRST YOGA VACATION
In February, Nina Granatir, SweatBox teacher extraordinaire, took eight students to Costa Rica to practice Bikram Yoga. Here's a report of their trip from Nina:
Costa Rica was pure magic! Was it the picturesque setting? The white sandy beaches with turquoise waters? Was it practicing Bikram Yoga twice a day to the tropical chorus of Cicada and Scarlet Macaws? Or maybe it was the unique bond of yogis and yoginis who made the trip magic... Whatever it was, we had a fantastic time. This was The SweatBox's first Yoga Vacation, but certainly not our last!

The group of us managed to practice yoga twice a day most days with beach and jungle excursions in between the morning and evening classes. One day we took a boat ride across the bay to Montezuma, a cute beach town, where some of us hiked to the water falls, and other of us soaked in the fresh water pools that fed into the ocean. Another day we adventured to Manuel Antonio, a world famous national park loaded with natural beauty and wild animals. There was also plenty of time spent pool side at our hotel, where we lounged, read, and soaked up the sweet Costa Rica sun!
"The warm sun, the wonderful studio and great folks met here will not soon be forgotten." ~Barb Brown

"Fabulous! I loved it and the wonderful new friends we made." Sandy DeLegal
With reports like these, we'll definitely do it again.
Stay tuned.....
