Dear Oneness Blessing Facilitator,

If you want to share these notes with other blessing givers and invite them to subscribe, note that there is a subscription link to join at the bottom of this message, so people need not write individually to be added.

These notes are not usually an exact transcript of the session, but notes to help each reader get the essential message from each question and answer. Particularly if there are repetitions from prior broadcasts, more summary references are provided than exact details.

This is not an official e-list from the Oneness University, but rather a voluntary offering to blessing facilitators. If you do not wish to receive notes in the future, you may unsubscribe below.

The official site for Oneness University is: http://www.OnenessUniversity.org

Gratitude to Michael Milner who has kept a running log of links to videos, audios, and transcripts for the meetings with Bhagavan over the last weeks on http://www.OnenessMovementFlorida.org

Also gratitude to all who have set up conferences, participated in them, and for sharing notes, videos, and audios. Thanks to Blessing Giver Narayani for the notes for this call and to Mahuri for passing them along to share with you all.

On Behalf of Mattias and I, we'd like to invite people who are willing to do notes for future broadcasts and telecasts to team up with us. Please let me know if you can do this and we'll start a rotating list for more people in the community to participate and then, all can continue to benefit from the notes!

I know many translate these notes for people in their countries who cannot understand the questions and answers from watching the videos. Thank you for that wonderful service!

Namaste,

Broadcast with Sri Bhagavan to Sao Paulo, Brazil

(There is no recorded video or audio for this broadcast.)

Q1: How can I find and fulfill the mission, the purpose of my life?

A1: It is very important for people to discover their life purpose. What happens is that you do not have clarity and you also use your head to think and discover your purpose in life. You might think there is no harm in that. But even if you do not think there can be more clarity, you should take inside yourself: I do not have clarity. And just stay with it. You should not move out of it. And then, from the bottom of your being, you know exactly what is the mission and purpose of your life.

For example, when Gandhi was alive and moving around the country, he did not know how to make India independent. What to do? The British were a tremendous force. And it was not by violence. And he did not know what to do. So he just sat with the truth of that: I do not know. And in a few months, until a given day, suddenly, the thought came to him, we should boycott the British salt. This was a very funny idea. It was a great empire, and become free of that empire? Boycotting the salt. And he thought: yes, that's it. He began playing the mission, and soon billions joined him. And finally we became independent.

This idea is not something we can conceive. What we think about. No. You just get the fact: I do not know. Then suddenly, deep truth, it comes. This happens to any individual, because if you keep quiet, a huge processing occurs inside. If you keep thinking and fighting, you destroy this process. If you just stay quiet, just put this input: I do not know, I wonder - do it, and wait.

Just stay quiet. Sometimes the land must be untouched for a while before you begin to grow something new. So it becomes nourished. Likewise, you must be quiet, quiet activity, not indifferent or asleep. Just stay with the fact that you do not know. You must be intensely aware of it, then it comes. You bring it to light, and if you follow this, you will never, can never fail. So this is how you will discover your purpose in life.
We can go to the second question?

Q2: Sometimes there is a conflict within me, use more of my time to help others grow in consciousness, or use more of my time to earn more money to survive and get a more comfortable life. How could I have a balance between the mundane and spiritual?

A2: Well, suppose you have some work to do, and while you're hungry. The best thing would be to eat first, and then do the job. Similarly, you have needs of self. It is more appropriate to first meet your needs before you get to help others. It is very natural, right and proper fit your needs.

If you do not, then what you do after is what is called: because ?? cultivated. Virtue must be something natural, not cultivated. That is why in Oneness we say, if you are not enlightened, do not behave like this. When you're not awake, do not behave like you are. You have your needs, then why should you focus on other people? It will not work. Your being must be expressed, and your hunger to be filled. And the most curious thing is that you will find that after you have completed your requirements, you will have a natural desire to help others. Not that you force yourself, or something that is contrived, not that you apply or use your willpower, no. Naturally you're going to help others. This is the moment when you will help others. And you become selfless.

Until then, be self-centered. Being self-centered is not wrong. The only thing is that the ego expresses itself in very dangerous ways, it means that you should not be self-centered (acting for your own benefit). You may sometimes think I am expressing myself, but this cannot be self-interest. That's what you should be careful. There is nothing wrong with expressing yourself and also going to help others on the spiritual path, because you feel so fulfilled. This longing is gone, you go to the next step, and your spirit begins to grow. But never deplete your being, and go help others. You're in big trouble sooner or later if you do. So, please, express yourselves. Now  the third question.

Q3: How can I improve my connection with the Divine? How do I know that the answers I get from my conversations with the Divine Presence actually is the Divine and not only the interference of my mind?

You must first consider, and make a list of all events where you can recognize the hand of the Divine helping you. You must have the memory of these events. And then, one by one, you should strongly express your gratitude to the Divine. Gratitude is the key to spiritual growth. While you do this, you find some connections going on between you and the Divine.

Then you must invoke the Divine in difficult circumstances. And when you're helped, you understand: yes, my thoughts were heard, my prayers were answered. And then the connection between you and the Divine increases. After that, it is totally easy; it is indeed very, very easy. You know how to contact and you know that the Divine is responding to you.

However, to be sure that is not your mind, but the Divine, you have a very good feeling, especially in your chest, and you will feel very, very well. This is the signal that is the Divine and not your mind. And the next thing, of course, it works. And you will know: yes, it is the Divine. And you will have confidence.

And as confidence grows, the mind ceases to interfere. Only when you have no confidence that the mind enters. But when you become confident, the mind slowly disappears. After that, it's like talking regularly with anyone; you can become as close as that. I know many people who for a moment do absolutely nothing. Any problem, they just talk, and it dissolves.

You may think this is impossible, but it is not. Any normal human being can achieve this, it is not difficult. Do not say it will be impossible or very difficult, everything we teach you are things that can be achieved in their lives in a very short time.
This was the answer to the third question. We can go for meditation?

[Sita Ji] Bhagavan, please, before just give us a blessing because many here will be initiated now. There are many new ones.

Yes, I give them powerful blessings, and they will become powerful blessing givers.
Thank you.
Namaste, love you all.
