Q1: Bhagavan, some of us are expected to be in full oneness through deeksha by now
and it has not happened. We know you are saying that what really is awakening
is permanent oneness. What can we do to hasten this process?
Bhagavan: Actually,
there are people around the world, they are of course few in number, who are
already awakened and who live in a state of oneness. They come from all parts
of the world. But the numbers could have been much, much larger, had we
implemented these changes which we are now implementing much earlier. It should
have happened quite some time ago, but then we could not bring about those
changes. As a result we have lost valuable time. We now hope to make up for the
lost time.
So now, as
we collectively move into a new phase, many more should become awakened before 2012.
However, in 2012, you could expect large numbers of people to become awakened.
If, of course, we follow all the steps that we have recommended.
The other
thing which you could do to hasten the process is to become powerful
blessing givers. Now how do you do that? You have got to sensitize your body.
You may have to do certain practices, like let us say, fasting, two days
fasting, three days fasting, sometimes maximum seven days fasting, maybe some
breathing techniques, because you have to sensitize your body more, in order
that the deeksha could flow more powerfully into you.
Similarly,
those whom you are going to give the blessing, it would be good if they also
sensitized their bodies, because the deeksha flows through what we call the
sensory cells. If they are insensitive, then the deeksha becomes weak. So they
could also be given some breathing exercises, which we would tell you later and
maybe a little fasting. Let us say, they could fast for two days and then you
could give the blessing, in which case it would be very powerful.
So a lot of
things could be done to make the blessing itself very powerful and most
important is, you must grow. Now how do you grow? We have given you all the
teachings. First you understand them intellectually, then you have to apply
them in your life. If you do not apply them, it's no use. After understanding
intellectually, let us say, we are often telling you "Look inside yourself. You
will discover that you are a rubbish pit, a septic tank. Terrible things are
inside you." Now you have to take this inward journey and get to grips, hold
like a baby, your jealousy, your anger, your fear, your lust, your hatred - you
must handle them.
You must
handle them in a very naive way, not as a concept, but actually go inside, with
the help of the blessing, see and hold them, like you hold a newborn baby. Hold
it so delicately. Not condemning, not judging, but hold it and experience it. If
you keep doing this, you will discover that the teaching works. For the
teaching to work, of course, you have to get the blessing also. The blessing,
that is, you can straight away receive the blessing by contacting the Divine,
in whatever form you want to, along with the teaching. You must do this as a
practice, almost every day. Then you'll become very, very powerful
blessing givers.
So, one is,
sensitizing the body. Next is, after understanding the teachings
intellectually, you have got to apply them. Real application must be there.Most
people do not apply them. They only understand them intellectually. You have to
sit quietly in a calm place, allow your thoughts to come and start applying it.
The third
thing is, you must improve your connection with the Divine. It is the Divine
which is coming down as the blessing. The blessing is nothing but the Divine,
the Divine trying to get closer to man and the Divine is your own Higher Self,
so you must become a very good conduit to it. As more and more of these Divine
energies flow through you, without doing anything further, you would see that
your consciousness levels are going up. More insights start coming and you
actually feel oneness with the others. It's a real thing, it is not some
imaginary concept. You will actually feel that you are one with the other.
So these
practices are required and when I'll be meeting you on the Skype like this,
I'll be guiding you more and we'll go for longer meditations very soon, in
which case it should happen to you. I expect many people to become awakened
even before 2012, if you seriously do these things. That's why it's so
important that I'll be in touch with you almost once in a month, so I can guide
you. And in 2012 when the energies really shift, we should make it quite
easily.
So, that is
the answer for the question. I am told it is one question per island. Shall we
move into the 3 minutes meditation? This time it will be for 3 minutes, later
it will be for longer durations. So could we now start the meditation?
