Valentine's Day can make just about anyone feel desperate. If you're a couple with young children, you have to get a babysitter, make sure everyone is healthy and pay what seems like exorbitant amounts of money for a simple restaurant meal. If you're an empty nest couple, you probably eat out a few nights of week anyway, so the question is how to make a Valentine's Day dinner special? Or what if you're not a couple at all? What exactly is Valentine's date night supposed to look like?
The most basic purpose of Valentine's is to celebrate the ones you love. So a special morning or night is appropriate no matter who is invited.
Today we celebrate our Valentine's Day with a variety of cook-at-home options. Cornish Game Hens for Two, a family friendly pasta for four, a breakfast for the chocolate lover in all of us, or a batch of Amazing Sugar Cookies for your entire neighborhood.
