What will 2010 bring you?

As we have arrived at new decade, we are overwhelmed by how well we have been received in the community over the years! We also look forward to meeting your financial needs better, more often, and through a variety of methods moving into the next ten years.

To that end, we will be changing up our newsletter schedule just a bit.  Instead of a full monthly newsletter, we'll send out a quarterly newsletter with more of the features you have told us you like reading - staff spotlights, banking news, bank calendar events, and new programs and products.

Every month, we'll send out a quick Identity Theft Tip to keep you and your finances safe.  Plus, we are adding an arsenal of short, specific news alerts that you can sign up for below.

To go along with our goal to be your knowledge resource, we will host monthly events on topics that you tell us you want to know about, so stay tuned for dates and topics.

As a community bank, what matters to you matters to us. Tell us what you'd like to hear from us, and we will do our best to accommodate.

When It Rains, It Pours...
The Flood of 2010
  OfficeFlood2009
We hope 2010 has gotten off to a great and successful start.

We unfortunately rang in the new year at the bank with quite a bang - or rather a burst!
One of our fire alarm pipes exploded on Saturday, Jan. 2 a few hours after closing for the day.  The fire sprinklers were triggered and water gushed from the broken pipe within the walls.

You may have remembered noticing emergency vehicles at the bank or work crews that weekend as the fire department responded to the alarm trigger.

In the end, a potential disaster resulted in only a few damaged offices and our fabulous staff has been flexible as offices are remodeled and wallpapered.

QUOTE OF THE MONTH:
Be always at war with your vices,
at peace with your neighbors,
and let each New Year find you a better man.
