| The year has turned its circle,
The seasons come and go.
The harvest all is gathered in
And chilly north winds blow.
Orchards have shared their treasures,
The fields, their yellow grain,
So open wide the doorway~
Thanksgiving comes again!
As cliche as it always sounds, the truth remains the same that as this time of year draws near, we think more clearly about the blessings we have. As we all prepare for a few days rest, time with loved ones, and delicious eats, I want to thank you for making River City Bank what we are today. You are part of a community of individual and business account holders without which we would not be in business.
The bank schedule is included below for your holiday planning, as well as some notes from a few of our recent community events. As always, should you need any assistance with a financial product or general financial advice, please don't hesitate to contact us. After all, we are here to serve you.
My sincerest thanks for your continued loyalty and best wishes for a delightful Thanksgiving holiday!
|Social Media Workshop Recap
Kristen Vardy, Senior Vice President of Community Banking
Our first business workshop was a great success! Close to 30 people joined us for our "Social Media for Business" workshop hosted Nov. 12 in our community room. This was the first of many workshops tailored for small business owners.
Tricia Steele of Steele Agency, LLC walked participants through the social media industry focusing on business uses of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. For those who were not able to attend or who might want more information, you can find the presentation and some additional resources by clicking here.
Look for more workshops on this topic and many others to be announced after the first of the year! Feel free to contact me should you have any ideas of workshops you'd like to see us offer: Kristen.Vardy@RiverCityBankOnline.com
|River City Bank Takes Best In Show
Banking with the home team has never looked so good.
The River City booth won first place at this year's Business Expo hosted by the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce November 6-7. This year's theme was "Win With the Home Team: ShopRome!" We selected a football theme complete with artificial turf, backdrop, and slogan: "Bank With Rome's Home Team!"
The highlight of the booth display was the large banner created by Community Banking Associate and artist, Katharine Wright, which depicted football players and cheerleaders in River City colors. The booth was staffed with our community banking team, who did a tremendous job greeting and informing the booth visitors about what we have to offer.
Drop in to check out the winning banner, which is on display in the lobby.
Way to go team!
