Summer is in full swing here in Sarnia and we've finally recovered from hosting the AGM!
Some highlights from the last couple months included: - our annual kids camp - celebrating our grads and our intern, Kyra Anderson - our annual "At the Movies" summer series - a group of men and Lighthouse Student Ministry doing a weeklong wilderness canoe trip in the Boundary Waters of northern Minnesota
While summer is far from over, we're beginning to gear up for the fall. Please pray for: - our Summer Baptism event on August 14. 9 people including a family of 4 will all be baptized in Lake Huron! Praise God for new life in Christ! - healthy expressions of community through small groups and in particular, the second year of our Emerging Journey Experience - new opportunities to be good neighbors both here on Parker St. and wherever we live - a renewed sense of investment, ownership, and passion for volunteers as we head into the fall - our pastors and staff - Sarnia and Southwestern Ontario as we seek to expand God's Kingdom in this part of the world
Please pray that our community would live more fully into our vision to LOVE God, LIVE in community and SERVE the world!
