Please pray for:
Prayer for our Kids For Christ (DVBS) program the first week of August. We are seeking to gather volunteers so that planning/preparations can continue.
Pray that we would have a good group of students and helpers for our week of summer ministry. Pray especially for the seniors in our congregation as they adjust to the limitations of aging. Pray that we as a congregation would continue to seek to care for them and support them through health/living transitions. We give thanks for the good progress of farmers and gardeners this spring and pray that God would bless with a good harvest. Our church is once again participating with other churches in our local Canadian Food Grains Project "Fields of Jubilee".

First Service Held at Lake Ridge Community Church, Chestermere, AB
On Sunday, June 12, Lake Ridge Community Church held their first service with visitors from the ECCC Leadership Board and Summer Ministry Team. Evan Dewald preached on the woman at the well's story of encountering Jesus. Lake Ridge is a church plant of the ECCC and we celebrate with them the joy of this milestone.

Summer Ministry Team!
The team has already made their way through two weeks of ministry. They started off in Nelson, BC where they helped the Junction Church in service by painting a house for people in the community.
They then made their way to Strathmore, AB to serve at Hope Community Church. Puppets and muffin making for the church's muffin ministry kept them busy.
Now the team is in Edmonton to help with the church's block party. Next stop, Dundurn!
