A Teachers' Retreat of Rediscovery

COST: $ 200 with accommodations
$ 120 without accommodations
DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION: July 17, 2009
3 day retreat offers educators and administrators a chance to escape to the natural world, forget the status quo and share their creative wells for their own energy renewal.
We'll explore participants' ideas of educational utopia and weave them into the vision for the urban-rural schools partnership.
Activities to include:
· Barriers to Bridges - transforming frameworks
· Deep Knowing - sharing the beauty response & tapping into ancestral knowledge
· Writing as a path to the unconscious
· Cultivating for Creativity - hands on skill building work in Permaculture gardens
· New Music - drumming out a different beat
· Place-, service- & project-based lesson resource reviews
