Week's Random Thought:

Sounds like Bullshit. You know, the type that you need to be rinsed and scrubbed of. Over  and over again. This week, LA LA Land succumbs to the Britney factor. And if that weren't enough, we have five idiots trying to relive 1992 at the Hollywood Palladium. And no I am not talking about my air guitar quintet that mastered Black Sabbath songs. I am talking about those, didn't we kill you yet fools known as New Kids on The Block...Read More

Week's Random Thought:PartI

... Let me get this straight, my two biggest options in the land of glitz and TMZ laced rubbernecking hysteria glimpses into everything 'cool' are the Britney shows at Staples or the Has Been's aka New Kids at the Hollywood Palladium? If that is the case, put some cyanide in my Coke Zero and just kill me know. I won't make it.

Seriously, this is why I started this thing. To help us  all find every fucking alternative to crap music and to help us tap into the truly great music that is happening every night. Not some hyper inflated marketing scheme.  To help those of us not in the "know" to look beyond the Ticketmaster and Live Nation options and help us get to the granular, you know the I cannot believe I missed those guys before they hit it big for 3 dollars type of shows.

If you are going to either of the aforementioned shows, we won't hate. If you are in need of something realer, a little more organic, something that speaks to the true diversity and musical uprising that is LA, maybe we can help you. Above we gave you just a few of the hundreds of shows we have on our calendar.  This will insure you have at least one amazing night this week with friends and loved ones listening to the true music genius' of this generation.

Remember those artists?  The ones that could care less about what is happening in the outside world and just making music for the sake of making killer music. For the people. Well those are bands we are trying to support this week and every week. Join us in supporting these bands.
