| The Plum Center for Lifelong Learning
New facility opens its doors
On September 4, 2008, the Fairfax County School Board passed a resolution to dedicate the ACE building at Edsall Park, naming it in honor of Kenneth R. Plum, a long time advocate for adult education and visionary leader of ACE for nearly three decades.
In accepting the tribute, Mr. Plum remarked, "It is my hope that the Plum Center for Lifelong Learning can serve as a model for raising the educational level of adults and children and increasing support for public education in our community."
The Plum Center is located in Springfield near the corner of Edsall and Backlick roads and boasts a host of state-of-the-art classrooms. It also serves as ACE administration headquarters. The Plum Center is your center! We welcome you to make this your learning place.
