Support Staff Who Shine!

Have you had an experience, or made an observation when one of our classified support staff have made a positive difference that was above and beyond the call of duty?

If so, we would love to know about it!

Please send your support staff  "highlight" to "superintendent@srcs.org"

We will be happy to pass along your comments to the specific classified support staff!

Dear Members of the San Rafael City Schools Community:

The classified support staff of San Rafael City Schools provide the needed support for students to learn and for teachers to teach.

It is the custodians who clean our schools and classrooms, the food service workers making lunches, the administrative assistants and clerical staff who answer the phone, and keep our schools humming,  the maintenance and grounds staff who take care of our buildings and grounds, the instructional assistants who support student learning and achievement who join all of the many other positions that our classified staff hold, that are vital members of our district team.

This statewide recognition began
as a resolution at CSEA's Annual Conference in 1984. Two years later, it was adopted as California Senate Bill 1552 and decreed to be an official recognition of classified school employees.

With appreciation,

          Mike

We don't accomplish anything in this world alone ... and whatever happens is the result of the whole tapestry of one's life and all the weavings of individual threads from one to another that creates something.

Nothing you do for children is ever wasted. They seem not to notice us, hovering, averting our eyes, and they seldom offer thanks, but what we do for them is never wasted.
