Smart Commute 404-7 presents

- The Eco-Driver Workshop Series

The Eco-Driver Workshop is a community-based social marketing program that is delivered in a friendly, driver-to-driver format. The program promotes fuel-saving options through three core messages:

1. Drive Fuel-Efficiently:

There is a 35% difference between the most and least fuel-efficient drivers on the road.  Through ecodriver-style training, drivers have saved up to 10%.

2. Maintain and Save:

Regardless of the age and type of vehicle you drive, keeping it in top condition makes a significant difference in its fuel efficiency.

3. Drive Less:

In addition to encouraging fuel savings while driving, EcoDriver also promotes not driving - especially for short trips, which are the least efficient and most easily replaced by walking and cycling.
For more information, or to book your Eco-Driver Workshop contact admin@smartcommute404-7.ca.

TESTIMONALS

"I had not anticipated how much fun it would be riding in with other employees. This has meant getting to know my colleagues better, which improves work relations, and learning about other areas of the company.  Plus, the drive goes by very quickly." - "Vanpooler" Laura Safrance, Enbridge Gas Distribution

"Practically speaking, cycling to work has definitely saved on gas, emissions and costs, as well as allowing me to get my daily exercise. Hopefully programs such as the Clean Air Commute will continue until such time as it becomes almost second nature." - "Cyclist" Paul Nishikawa, City of Pickering

"Walking to work never really crossed my mind, because I thought it would be too much of an inconvenience.  The Clean Air Commute was the main reason that I decided to change.  Otherwise I might not have tried doing the walk." - "Walker" Patrick Blady, MMM Group
